I have no words. Even a 10 feels like it's too low of a rating for this drama. What did they put in here to make it this good??? Everything is perfect, main characters, OST, colour scheme, the flow of the episode. Every single moment is just so frustratingly intriguing, like now I'm mad cuz wdym the last ep is next week...
This was truly a masterpiece of a drama, an action comedy done right. It's like those gem that u'll only encounter once in a blue moon, it's that good for me.
This show made me even more depressed. Why depression is still judged as weak, selfish, etc..?
I should have read ur comment before starting the drama. I just finished ep2 and I decided to drop it, I just can't continue. I felt even worse.
I just finished boyhood recently and that made me a little more motivated and life more live-able for the day. And now, it feels like I'm back to square one. Idk which part of the drama triggered me this much but I just feel hazy now.

I didn't choose to be depressed, it's just too hard to go on sometimes, is it so wrong to feel the way I'm feeling? I get it, sometimes suicide is passing on the pain to someone else, like family members for instance, hence we should try to live and hang in there as much as possible. It's just that this drama is having an opposite effect on me from what it's originally intended. I know I should appreciate life and cherish it, but I just feel like the way it's portrayed or expressed in the drama isn't it for me.
Just my two cents on this, I know so many ppl loved this drama and I can see why, the actors did a great job on their part, it's just a pity the storyline isn't it for me. But hey that's just life right, ppl are bound to have different preferences.
had to drop this halfway cuz I genuinely cannot bring myself to watch this anymore. Everything looks forced, idk if it's just me but the acting wasn't very well done. I did not get any wholesome vibe from this and couldn't bring myself to like a single character in this show. Personally I don't feel the chemistry btwn any of the characters in this show at all. I couldn't sense any form of attraction or whatsoever and everything just felt cringe for me. Sadly hv to give this a 5/10. If you like KBLs like Semantic Error or The Eighth Sense, I'm honestly not sure if u'll like this, u can still give it a try i guess.
i thought love like the galaxy was good and prob my most fav drama, but after watching the long ballad, all I can say is TLB has to be the best chinese drama, if not drama in general, that I've watched. Aft watching this, LLTG suddenly even seems a little...weak HAHAHHA. While people feel there is a lack of romance between the main leads, I personally loved the lowkey romance because I am not really a fan of cheesy romance where I get sick of the leads after they get together. Furthermore, most people didn't really like the drawing scenes but I actually really loved them just because they are so well drawn, oh wells 🤣.
The friendships in TLB are amazing, it was SO DAMN wholesome. The character growths in TLB has to be one of the best, usually for dramas, I tend to get impatient and watch the last eps halfway. But for TLB, the best parts has to be the growth and the process, all the memories made, and hence I really enjoyed all the eps.
there's minor flaws here and there but which drama doesn't have a single flaw amirite? The small little flaws are nothing to me and personally, even with them, this drama is a solid 10/10. I really enjoyed seeing the tactics and stunts used in the wars, enjoyed seeing the characters work together for the betterment of the normal people. And best part is, changge's uncle has to be the best emperor of all dramas I've watched, powerful but not blinded by greed or thirst for more power, and most importantly, a very caring and loving father to both CG and LY.
All in all, I feel like this has to be the best drama I have ever watched. 🌠🤤🤙🏻 And honestly, if you like dramas like Empress Ki (rlly loved that drama as well), i think u would enjoy this as well, hopefully.
oso Ashile Sun yyds, the slight brown and long hair really suits him. As for chang ge, I feel like she really suits Mobei attire, she was drop dead gorgeous in it. I can list so many more for the other characters but I'll leave that for you to find out. ☻ Def recommend watching.

I initially hought of Kim so hyun as well because of her double characters in Who are you school 2015. I feel like she might potray chen yun ru rlly well, not so sure abt huang yuxuan tho.

everyone's complaining about the ending and honestly I like happy endings as well but..it just wouldn't fit if this drama ended on such a happy note. It was painful, just like the actual history. I read somewhere that sad endings leave a greater impact on viewers than happy endings and I agree, especially for a drama set in such a depressing time. This drama showed us how brutal politicians can be, and the horrible things people went through, it would have been such a misfit if everyone lived happily ever after like a fairytale.
However I admit I was cursing like mad when some of the characters kept on making mistakes and screwing up the plans over and over again. But I wonder, would I have been any different from them in this kind of situation? If my family member was also in danger, I cannot guarantee that I won't be selfish. And blah blah HAHAHHA.
I think this drama is a solid 9, it had a few plotholes here and there, tbvh Dr Kang and Suho raised this from an 8 to a 9. Thank you snowdrop for allowing me to anticipate my weekends , it has been a bittersweet journey. The End.

And about the next part, no (?) I nvr said I won't give the new actors chances, it's just a pure thought based on all the dramas I've watched, like simply who might fit.
Don't worry, like I said, the new actors will definitely redeem themselves according to their future performances. And about the hate comments, I guess we can do nothing but wait for the future eps and then judge HAHHAA. But in the end, we are all different, one's acting might appeal to you but not in the eyes of others, hence the reason why people hv such different opinions. It is really up to an idividual, can't get mad at others for what they dislike y'know. 👍 But, I don't think the cast is considered new tho...I think most ppl in the comments hv watched their prev dramas before commenting so umm 👀
i hate that everyone talking about ultra-popular actors/actresses for the cast. they don't even let new actors…

The final cast will eventually get to shine when the actual epsiodes come out in the future and then they will get to redeem themselves then.

There is a reason why those ultra famous actors are being mentioned and that is because their previous perfomances have proven that they are capable of taking up such a role. Or at least for me, I am not against the final cast at all, I am just thinking of a bunch of actors who could possibly potray the characters.
I was thinking of Kim Taeri / Ha Jiwon for FL and Ji Chang Wook / Park Bo Gum for ML. Obviously this will not be happening tho lol. But honestly though, my heart is still attached to the Taiwanese version, the songs, the characters are absolutely top notch.
