I still think about this movie from time to time lol, probably because I've liked Kenta Suga since Haikyuu engeki. His roles are always unconventional, but he does it well!
The first time I saw her was in Day6's music videos for 'When You Love Someone' and 'I Loved You'. Now she's breaking through in her acting careers! I'm glad Ji Eun is gaining more recognition in her latest dramas <3
Excellent suspense, and Im Siwan is so good at playing the crazy guy. He needs more thriller/suspense roles! However,…
Also the suspenseful soundtrack kept repeating almost the entire movie, and I dunno if that was intentional (to make it sUUUPER tense) but boy did I get super stressed because of that
Excellent suspense, and Im Siwan is so good at playing the crazy guy. He needs more thriller/suspense roles! However, I had to speed through the latter half of the movie because the pace became a bit too slow for me (and it was pretty fast in the beginning!). I think most of the other characters were underutilized. I saw another comment that said it seemed the movie went for emotion instead of plot by the end, and I kind of agree. The political undertone in the scene where they're trying to land in Japan was a little... over-the-top, but historically speaking, they do have major beef. Didn't think that was necessary, though. Still a great movie!
What a great article! I only started watching J-dramas last year and there's so much more I haven't tried yet. Reading this just made me more excited to watch again ❤ Tokyo Love Story is definitely one of my top faves!
Medical drama caught my eye. I'm adding The Great White Tower and Jin to my to watch. I've heard many good things about Jin especially.
