when they went to mortal world and prior to that. i just feel that they had great opening episodes and kinda slowed down and draggy . love the characters tho
don't get me wrong, i'm a fan of historical dramas . i love all the casts ... but i've been skipping a lot in the middle episodes , it was draggy . i get the storyline but that's it? the thrill is not continuous..
I watched this because it's FL's first action series and i've been anticipating this since last year. She really did portray the character very well and u can see that she's a seasoned actress already. If it's Zhao Lusi or Yang Yang, i believe it'll be a great drama . WRTW showed their chemistry together. I love the ML but hopefully he'll work on more with his expressions. Like Xu Kai, eventhough he doesn't have lines, the expressions in his eyes are enough and gives the message.
I watched a lot of historical dramas and I really enjoyed this. I skipped some scenes esp during the power struggles and palace dramas. I wished they cut those down. But, i really like that they actually continously portrayed till the end that the FL is powerful and skilled and not be a damsel in distress (unlike, other dramas. The strong FL suddenly needs the ML all the time during war) . The romance was slow but I was actually here for the action part.
Overall, another masterpiece of Zhao Lusi and Yang Yang . Some watchers will not like this and find it boring but personally I enjoyed it and i'm glad I watched it.
We've never seen the FL's family at all. It would be great if they show the family coz she's thriving in her career. The last bit of this drama was rushed and too many things going on .. some characters just disappeared from the plot and some don't have progress at all.
Love this drama coz of Xu Kai , can't get over w/ his eyes . The FL a bit stiff, monotone or there's no drastic change with the character portrayed but still fine ..
reading some of the comments and kinda disappointed abt the comments of Shin Min Ah , if u watched some of her dramas, she's known for her cutesy acting ang giggles but then again we all have preferences ... I actually prefer the actors and actresses from their generation but then again they're not forever young🤷♀️
Idk why they casted a young and single guy to take care of a non-celeb twins ... good thing, the twins are brave and well-behaved ... it would have been better if they casted a future dad or a married guy with no kids yet, so they know what to expect when they have a little one.
Having deja vu watching some scenes, some similarities with the King's Avatar (mostly the gaming and building the team part) ... a new side of Wang Yi Bo . 1st time watching him in not a historical drama.
Ahhh can't get over it.. brings so much memories from HS ... can't believe it's the same ML from Handsome Siblings 😍 double checked a lot of times lol.. cute and refreshing to watch, i actually like the FL too, her smile and charm is so different from other FLs portraying "child-like" characters .. love the chemistry 💙
I love Jasper but even his charm can't save this one ... his suits doesn't suit him and no chemistry between him and FL .. this could be zoey's show lol ... watched it in 2x speed + 10sec combo
