I partially agree with you. For those who have watched her previous works, she might have done a better job than usual. However, for others who are new to her works, she didn’t do a good job.
Additionally, CJS being such a detailed actor Made her acting appear quite bland.
anyone who’s ready to act with a better makeup… or any other more experienced actress who can put with that…
I know… But for me male lead was so good that I couldn’t bring myself to drop it… (once he becomes the king, he shows complex emotions without making it obvious… CJS is a genius fr).
But as you say about the female lead, there’s scene from episode 5 (u can see it on Netflix k-content Youtube channel…) i could only see the King, the FL was practically invisible to me… that one scene made me wonder which other actress could have done more justice to the character unlike her.
I decided to watch this purely because of JJS as the ML. He was fantastic in Nokdu Flowers. But SSK as FL is excruciating…
