So I rewatched ep 28 after subs are out. All I can say is, wow shen yao, I DID not expect you would do that to piss off your father + the commentaries after and the school after, that's a mega boss move. And his mother looking at the father and be like : Try me b*tch 😂. The father should really not offend his family anymore cause when they get revenege, they GET it . Also, the mother son scenes while ice skating was wholesome, I was basically smiling with them. Also, now that I think about it. It seems no matter how other students try, shen yao will always rank 1st, if he wasn't getting revenge and failed on purpose, he would have 100% ranked 1st again. I wonder if he's a genius or very hardworking cause ranking 1st since childhood in a very competitive environment and still being able to do it is quite challenging

looking back at the series, I forgot there was even some kind of festival to prepare for. I'm sorry but I became more interested in soobin story. Stories about poverty, blackmail and such always get me cause I feel bad for them especially when it leads to troubled youth and depression xd

That birthday scene made me tear up fr. the way he smiles while tearing up reminded me of myself when I looked in the mirror after having a big fight with my parents. That acting looked so real. Hope marcus gets more fame in the future cause his acting as shen yao is pretty solid

aaaa I hope subs get released soon, decided to watch ep23 raw and it seems there was a lot of shen yao/ms.sang teacher guidance moments and more shen yao development (this is a biased opinion, but I found these 2 more interesting than the rest of the cast, not that the rest are bad or anything)

yes, the pic is him with an adult man in front a place where teenagers shouldn't hang around. that's what's used to blackmail him.

2nd brother is starting to develop better each time, hoping we see more development with him and his inspiring actress friend in next episode, hyo shim and tae ho are gems as usual(which makes me worried cause this feels like the calm before the storm). 1st brother is a mix of kind and ignorant for me, his family his obnoxious too (yes, even his son). 3rd brother is still a lost cause so far, and their mother gets more annoying each time

this is how I saw it ; soobin is poor and is trying to be better but through the wrong methods, da eun captured that moment and blackmailed him into dating him. He also can't quit his current job cause the club manager can threaten him, ok now for this part, I'm also confused so I came with my own interpretation, after da eun blackmailed soobin, he went to yeji telling her that he will confess to her(da eun), as a heads up (I'm probably very wrong here, but either way, I still dislike da eun). Da eun probably blackmailed him 2 weeks prior to the present events so the leaked video of them dating matches the time of day when soobin informed yeji about his supposed crush. I doubt the video got leaked immediatly after the blackmail, otherwise, yeji would start questioning why they were dating before he even confessed to da eun. I don't think soobin likes her but like yeji all along, but now, he can't do anything about it. if the pics of him with the club manager spreads around, everything around will crumble. He might face punishment from school, the teachers will not look at him the same, the students who are probably looking for a single flaw of him will mock him and make his life miserable. his freinds and most of all yeji, might not want to talk to him anymore. He's basically treading on thin ice right now between keeping the image of an ace student, forced to date a girl who's kinda creepy and hiding all this from yeji. Sorry for my long answer, I got carried away. Again, I want to say that this is my own interpretation and the scenes I saw

I hope we get more shen yao scenes, I find him interesting + the soundtrack that plays everytime his scenes come is eerie and I like it. I also hope we see more development with him and li ran. heck, I wouldn't even mind a whole episode just with the 2 of them exploring their development

I feel bad for soobin, not only he's basically being threatened by the club manager, he's also blackmailed by da eun, he wants to build himself to be worthy of the girl he actually likes but the latter also doesn't seem to catch up with what's going on (not that I am blaming her), that plus the fact that he's considered an ace by his classmates and teachers so the pressure is even more than you think when any flaw is exposed. His situation overall sucks from all aspects

guys, like some commenters here said, although it's a remake of OSN, the characters are different in personality. ML is softer and more sensible in the korean version while CML is more confident and sharper (I think they change it to fit chinese audience ideal ML type which is understandable. same case with the FL). As someone who watched OSN more than once, I don't find the chinese version bad at all, I actually like it and like the acting of both the ML and the FL + I like the julie julie ost, it's stuck in my head now XD. so guys, if you like this type of drama, i'll say it's worth it. Only thing I'm wishing for is that we don't get a sad ending, it seems it occurs quite often in chinese dramas

is this remake of the kdrama "one spring night"? cause the plot and the settings in the 1st episode looks very similar. I'm all here for it tho, loved that kdrama and I definitely wouldn't mind a remake.

At 1st i thought I would wish for sehun to be the ML who survive amd get the girl but now I hope it's jo joon young. Idk how it changed but it just happened 😅

Just a question, is the FL lead like the usual cases with the annoying FLs in other dramas who whine, jumps to misunderstandings or hate the ML for stupid reasons or a reasonable FL that acts her age ?

They better not ban this. I'm not even gay but I still want to watch series that shows them. And although I haven't read the novel or anything, the scenes of the leads definitely hint at some sparks even with the questionable age gap. Plus, I like the kind of characters like pi shu in these kind of dramas. Not too cocky but not immature or "cold hearted" either and still has a mysetious aura.

I think the guns are shown in the girl kidnapping scene. For pei shu, he basically works as a ceo so puking when seeing blood doesn't affect his actual job
