This was so stupid but yet funny. I just wished instead of having 2/3 of the time just the FL being bullied and beaten by the villains without bearly any reaction we had more hot scenes with this very sexy ML ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
I'm on episode 14 and I can't take this product placements anymore. Damn 999 cold medicine always making every single character in moderns set dramas get a cold just to show up. I'm already skipping all this shit XD
Another drama that suffers from the same problem as so many other cdramas: it should have fewer episodes. In the last part it became extremely draggy and the ending was anticlimactic for a story that had been told so well over the course of the episodes. Despite these problems, this was a drama that I couldn't stop binging, a story about how everything goes to shit and friendships and lives are destroyed because of money. I really love this kind of story where one wrong decision turns into a big snowball. The direction, cinematography, editing and acting are all outstanding, in my humble opinion, one of the best Light On drama. I think the real crime is that this drama is rated 7.5 on this site.
So after watching 6 episodes, you figure out who was the killer(s)? I sure didn't until a few eps until the end.
Find who is the killer isn't enough to keep me watching if everything was predicble. When they could have made some mistery about who was the mole they simple showed since the beginning that the boss was involved. This was so dumb. From there everything was predictable: -it was obvius the boss was being forced. - when we see the scar of Chen Kai Chin, it was obvious she was his daughter and was adopted because her mother died and of course, her foster parents must be involved (I didn't finish but it's my guess). I mean, the script had nothing original, 20 year ago I could have found this good, but today I already watched so much crime series, movies and dramas that this one became simply boring.

Most likely because of the budget. Imagine the work involved in changing the wig, it takes a lot of time, I think that's the reason. To date, I've only seen the protagonists with their hair down in Eternal Love and The Rise of the Phoenixes. In both, ML wears his hair down when he's at home, I think it's beautiful and I'd love to see more of it because seeing everyone sleeping with tied hair is certainly strange ๐
Good Lord, they overdid in Zhang Wan Yi make up! This chinese fixation with white skin is absurd... in some scenes he looks like a ghost with so much white powder on his face. EDIT: Actually everyone's face whitening make up is very exaggerated in this drama... the visual is so strange because of this.
Everything about the detention and interrogation of Zhou Luo by the police without the presence of a lawyer is too absurd. In fact, in no crime cdrama there is the presence of lawyers, it's as if they don't exist in China when it comes to criminal defense. I don't know what China's laws are like, but I hope it's just drama nonsense for the police to do whatever they want without a lawyer being present.
I'm on ep 9 and my blood is boiling so much, all I wanted was to throw a bomb and obliterate that town and those despicable, hypocrite misogynist people.
I'm on episode 26 and in this drama villains life is very easy because every single person is so dumb and clueless to a point of becoming comical. ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ But it's being very fun to watch. XD
Oh boy, this started so well but went down hill on the last 7 (or so) episodes. These last episodes are really infuriating, bullshit after bullshit and this made me very sad because the first half was good. I love the trope supportive man/domineering woman, but from the middle to the end the ML become just someone without any personality, the only reason for his existence is to serve the FL like a faithful dog, screenwriters made him completely one-dimensional while tried so hard to add depth to the boring SML. FL was soooo frustrating always forgiving and giving more chances to the SML. She finds SML killed her = "he had his reasons". She finds her brother and her friend also were part of her assassination = hate them, don't want to even look to their faces in disgust. This when the ones in front of her didn't even become yet that heinous people that killed her, they made nothing yet and she even thinks in revenge while she is completely indulgent to SML who she knows has also gone back in time and it's the same that betrayed her! In the end she even wanted to forgive him and let him survive, I couldn't believe in my eyes ๐๐๐๐
