Seems like people here think that if the man is gorgeous the FL has to submit to him even if he is abusive or treat her like shit otherwise the FL is annoying. It's much easier to hate the woman than see that a beautiful ML is acting badly.
Wow, this is full cliche but the ML is really, really, really ridiculously good-looking! Loved the fanservice, actually he is so goddamn beautiful that I think he should be shirtless all the time 😏
The first half is very good, their struggle to build the train, the historical scenery, their romance is very cute. But in the second half is very frustrating after their marriage. I can't stand to see how Han Qing is such a wimp mommy's boy that obeys his authoritarian sister and watch passively she humiliating his wife. First Jin Cai Lan is treated like thing to generate a baby (boy), after she is pregnant she is more like a handmaid who is just a womb and the real mother is the sister. I'm on ep 30 and I keep waiting for them to react, but no, both of them are just absurdly passive!!! This is so frustrating, I now almost think that Jin Cai Lan would be much better with Feng Shigao! At least he is not a wimp and would stand for her. I really hate this kind of coward ML, Han Qing is pathetic and Jin Cai Lan is frustrating because she can fight in a battlefield but when comes to stand for herself she is incapable, she only knows how to fight for others.
Edit; now I'm on ep 34 and I take back what I said, Feng Shigao is a psycho. Jin Cai Lan would be better alone XD
Finished! I'm really surprised with those positive reviews and comments, I feel like I just watched another drama. Seriously, this was very bad in all aspects: horrible acting, horrible dubbing, horrible music, ridiculous editing and transitions, plot full of holes and absurds. Everything looks so amateur that I could think it was made by college students. It's sad because the general idea is good, could have been a great drama if it was done right.
I have to say that from episode 10 to the end things become much more interesting and I laughed so hard with the unintentional comedy, especially with the faces the abusive husband does, widening eyes, overacting all the time. The kind of thing that is so bad that makes a turn and becomes entertaining because of the ridiculousness! 🤣
If I recommend? I would say you should see for yourself and make your own conclusions because as you can see here this drama seems to be hit or miss thing, a love or hate, so maybe you should give a try. 😉
I'm on ep 2 and I'm really shocked by the good reviews because everything I saw so far is so bad. Horrible acting, horrible dubbing, strange transitions... looks like those youtube dramas that have episodes of 3 minutes length but in this case is 40 minutes. So far it seems a third-rate version of Big Little Lies. 🤣
I bought MangoTV vip because it costs only 0,99 just to watch this. I'm on ep 2 and the subs are barely understandable, really shitty, if wasn't only 8 episodes I would just drop it. It's sad because this drama seems amazing but MangoTv treats international viewers like clowns.
It' s a good crime drama, not exceptional but very entertaining, it's a shame be so little known.
The fact that girl survived more than 24 hours in a below zero temperature dressing only those light clothes was the most unbelievable thing of all. And hours later she is at hospital as nothing happened, no traumatized at all LOL
If the butcher hadn't left the girl to die in the truck I would have rooted for him until the end. I empathized with him much more than with the Zhou You, actually I found Zhou You totally unlikable and with more psycho vibes than the killer.
The last episode was very weak, with those cringy flashbacks, it was anticlimactic.
