Every single comment section of dramas with two ML is always the same: hate towards the female characters and they don't even pretend anymore, just say it they wish there was no female characters to "ruin" the drama. 🙄🙄🙄
I just finished and I want to say that if you like crime stories and have doubts if you should watch this, please just disregard the relatively low rate and give a try. This is a really underrated drama.
So many comments saying this is amazing, but after 5 episodes I feel so bored. Gonna drop for now, if there is a second season someday maybe I'll resume it.
I'm on ep 4 and is impossible not to think of Lost. The characters background is showed in a fragmented way and out of order so the story can look like more appealing and intriguing. The repetition of flashbacks is something that is really annoying me and I'm already fast forwarding a lot, specially on the ep 4, that romance of the singer chick is super boring.
Last episode was basically flashbacks that was already repeated much times during the drama, for me this made the end so anticlimactic. Everything being just a book I simply ignored because I'm used with cdramas, so this for me was irrelevant. I think everything was explained well but the way CPZ tried to use the possible cure of Lin's disease as a tool to force SLZX to choose him was very disappointing. If he really loved her he would leave the answer to P=PN before go away, he would hope she could be happy even without him. But we can say that PZ (from both worlds) is not a very selfless person, and I think that SPZ would do something similar if LZX would choose another man over him.
I'm on ep 19 and liking a lot. So much happening in every episodes, is very fast paced and don't get boring. I'm very impressed with Dai Xu! The first I saw him was in A Dream of Splendor where he plays a dumb man child and seeing he on Last one Standing just blowed my mind, he is a excellent actor. And his character is so more interesting than the ML because of the duality. ML is just plain good, lawful good and this become irritating sometimes. I prefer more ambiguous characters. Unfortunately the dubbing spoils the dramatic moments.
