I've had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out with only a local anesthetic, in 3 separate visits. The top were out in less then 5 min each and they were both impacted and only minimally exposed. Went to work that same day with tolerable pain. The bottoms were more complicated, taking almost a full hour all together to section out. It really depends on each patients situation and the dentist whether you need to be put out. Also what you can afford determines a lot.
Side note: after the bottoms came out i ended up with a dry socket. It was the most relentless, excruciating pain ive ever had in 36 yrs of life. Narcotic pain medication cant even dull it a little. The only solution is to go in every day to have the dentist pack it with a special paste until it heals enough to cover the exposed bone and nerve. I wouldnt wish that pain on my worst enemy 😵😵💫
I should have never watched the trailer for this all those months ago. I hate anticipating shows. Theres no news for weeks at a time then iqiyi dangles a little carrot onTwitter or Instagram, then goes dark again. At what point does 'coming soon' become false advertisement? It should be 'Coming someday' - i could stop thinking about it if that was the case.
