exactly! may i add the ice skating scene between XCS and HHL !! It was 🔥🔥 now i could have understood Linda99 comment if this drama is a romcom bc if there is no chemistry (this is only her opinion, many others shipped xcs with either HHL or TXM ) or not enough skinship then her statement make sense . But here the drama isnt about xcs love story, in fact the writers gave another meaning to the word love, it's more "realistic" than those we watch in romcoms, and the real love story between the leads was a sense of compagnionship that a man and a woman would feel towards each other, its a woman taking a man as her role model and an inspiration and a man finding acceptance and a feel of security around a woman.

who said it's a romance drama to begin with? the plot is clearly talking about 3 friends and youth after their dreams, the genre romance was mentioned besides the other genred cuz there were bits of romance, the story is after all showing how a lover left the lead and how another one accepted him like he is, romance doesnt have one definition. Also giving a low rating eventhough you admit everything else is good is unfair esp that it's not a romcom.
this combination of a great director like Tsui Hark, china film, Xiao Zhan and a rumored big guest cast too, is already EPIC! I hope for a smooth shooting for the movie which was rumored to start in may 28th!excited 😍 xiao zhan deserve all the best!!

such an interesting saying! acting wasnt his first goal yet he did such an amazing job in it, im speecheless!! ok abt the smaller role, i get it now, i remember him talking abt how much not only him but everyne wanted to play that evil character, i thought u were talking abt another one! thank god he wasnt chosen for it and he end up being our WW., a more challenging character.
For me , it's a plus for the person when he tries to be better than his old self and/or teenager, we've all made small mistakes here and there at some point of our life, but we just didnt became famous. the poor guy wasnt that much troublemaker lol I heard that people even accused him of not sitting in an appropriate position just because he crossed his legs on the chair or smth like that lol. reading you made me realize that"Blessings are often hidden amidst hardships or challenges" I already watched the res dea vids, and showed them to a friend who was speecheless of the amountof support he got. She told me "they turned an award show into his arena/concert" Like u said too, I think there should be a balance between being silent and reacting without being taken over by emotions. I get it that it has became like a trauma for xfx to "react" by fear of being demonized again but I hope they maintain the balance i talked abt, ppl will hate no matter what. Since I am a fan only since early this year, I cant compare betw now and then, i didnt watch his 2020/2021 stuff yet, but I still would feel like he toned down his "appearances" a bit, Im not sying this bc i am worried, his popularity is what made me know him after all, but I was wondring abt what might have changed, and ur explanations looked on point esp that I already heard abt the said changmnt in c-ent too. Reading how xfx fought "in a smart way" is so inspiring!! I guess the number of fans didnt decrease which helped the fandom stay strong and make their "proofs" reach the general public easily right? I just wanna hug Shu Chi and tell her thank you for training him !! isn't it a sign of how natural his acting is when teachers and producers keep seeing his potential and trust him with new roles!
