Really curious about this kdrama ( because of high ratings ). I want to start watching it, but first I have one…
What is “female lead privilege “
1) yes and No he’s loser for FL only as he should (you will get to know later he’s for FL ,but not for others.)
2) Here 2ML is used as jealousy plot only later he moved on ,I don’t think they dive more into it.later she trusted ML over him so yea that was refreshing to see.
We don’t even have 2FL for ML as I said ML had eye for FL only.
Was it the fact that Hong Hee Joo was actually kidnapped or was it the realisation that she was willing to hide…
Yes but trigger was kidnapping only (fear of losing her )because 3 years they were taking each other’s feeling granted ,if not that incident they were still pretending to each other and he would have go ahead with his plan of letting her go.
And then whole emotions came to play like you mentioned ,I think she had valid reason because he never gave reason to her that he can be trusted in those 3 years .

If you asking what brought them closer
Trigger was Kidnapping only ,he started from being pretending indifferent to showing emotions infront of her when he got to know she was kidnapped ,or someone harmed her, and she finally started expressing herself to him even as blackmailing him
Which led to chain of events that brought them together.
I suggest you to watch it ahead you will idea what brought them together.
The phone you just called' is popular not only in Korea but also abroad. What do you think is the driving force of this global popularity?
I'm really curious about that too. I don't really know why overseas viewers are responding more enthusiastically. What I can be sure of is Yoo Yeon-seok's divine sexy eye -beaming acting. I saw a lot of opinions that Yoo Yeon-seok's acting show is driving this drama. And Yoo Yeon-seok and Chae Soo-bin's breathing seems to make viewers anxious.
EDITED Watching a work adapted into a completely different medium, a drama, makes me nervous and sometimes even feels like I'm being stripped naked. Maybe that's why I've been watching the work with a somewhat stiff attitude every week. If I had known it would be made into a drama, I should have written it more carefully and more intelligently. But thanks to the great directing, adaptation, and passionate performances of the actors, I'm just enjoying watching it now.
So a middle aged man can't act in a rommace drama again 😭😭, is this new? so many actors this year are older…
By user logic Giving example of KSH age when he’s 36 years old ,I guess after 4 years when he turns 40 we can also call him middle age and discard his drama 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I don’t want to spoil anything to you.
I have been traumatised by lots of dramas ending where they messed up in last episode andI ended up giving 5 or 6 rating or even 4 from 10🙃🙃
I can take Happy ending ,Sad ending ,but not bad ending or open ending (believe open ending is easy way out for writers)
Mine only complain from this drama is toning/mellow down characters.rest all good
That’s why she thought like that.
