This whole season has been aggressively bad. Watching Kit emotionally torture Mark for no goddamn reason ruined their relationship for me. Dun and Bas have all the chemistry of two gelatinous blobs, as a friend of mine said. Wayu has become the Bella of this show. Pok and Tong were fun in s1 but their conflict has stretched on too long and gotten boring. The only couples that are even remotely interesting(Kohjack and SandeePhai) get little to no screen time during the eps. If there is a season 3 it should focus on them. If the show still wants to focus on the other three couples there really is no point to a third season. It feels like this show is honestly trying to be bad.
I think to enjoy Not Me you have to have a certain level of investment in the Thai people's struggle against their oppressive government. It's not really a BL in the traditional sense. Romance is not the most important part of that show. True, there are gay relationships, but the show is mainly about how the government and the wealthy oppress and use a huge chunk of their population to enjoy a lavish lifestyle. Which is honestly quite daring, and I hope the people involved in creating it don't get thrown in prison. But if what you're looking for is romance, yeah, Not Me isn't the right show for you.
why are people dissing about this series? what have they said? i would scroll down, but...
Leo and Fiat are in a D/s relationship. I understand how that can be confusing to those unfamiliar with BDSM, but they are. I wish it was better negotiated, but there's only so far the show can take it. And yes, Leon asked Pob for permission, but only after following him around for a few episodes despite Pob's clear attempts to avoid him. And I strongly disagree with the idea that it's somehow cute to make someone "work for it". Relationships should be about mutual interest, not someone ignoring the boundaries another puts in place, and I can't fathom why you think it's okay to do that. Please don't violate someone like that in real life.

Lol I appreciate all of your thoughts, but I was asking what the phrase mean, where it comes from, because I've never heard it before. But yeah, I don't love the second couple, largely because the whole "I'll stalk him until he likes me back" thing is both clichรฉ and toxic. Consent is important, and no means no. So this trope is painful for me to watch, because I think if someone says that they're not interested, you should leave them alone, and I think portraying it as cute will have a really negative effect on the impressionable young people watching these shows.
Very beautiful episode, I like LeoFiat scenes the most, and also the short LeonPhob scenes.Regarding Fiat, his…
Yeah the people here complaining about how emotional Fiat is clearly don't understand how much that level of trauma can damage your mental health. Get some empathy, y'all.
Someone take Fiat's mom to see a mental health professional oh my god she looks so broken and honestly I just…
She's already in a mental hospital. That's where she was when Fiat visited her. Remember him saying she didnโt need to escape again to come see him? And Mait said he didn't know how she'd escaped. What she needs is to be watched more closely. And get better help. But it's not clear if that's possible for her. Some people with mental illness can't recover, at least not with the treatment humans have now.
do u even understand why he hates his stepmom and dad, he has been manipulated by his mom since he was a child…
You're absolutely right, Fiat does act like a child and Leo does act like a parent to him. But that's not a bad thing. It's a kink thing. They have a(regrettably unnegotiated) Dom/sub relationship which presents as Daddy/bratty boy. If you're not familiar with BDSM I can understand why their relationship with each other is confusing. But they're just kinky. You can see it if you know what to look for. If it's not your cup of tea, that's fine, but there's nothing wrong with them wanting to have their relationship be like that.
Not Leo literally carrying Fiat to bed when there was nothing physically wrong with him. LOL just when I thought…
Being deeply traumatized emotionally can make it difficult to function. And this is the dynamic they have. They have a kinky Daddy/bratty boy relationship in which Leo pampers, cares for, and disciplines Fiat. It makes perfect sense that Leo would carry him like this. Fiat needs to be comforted, and, when you're kinky like that, having your Dom care for you in that way can be very reassuring. There's nothing wrong with Fiat being infantilized like this. It's the way he and Leo relate to each other.
Wild to me that there are so many people who prefer Pobleon over Leofiat. Pobleon is a clichรฉ "Stalk them until they like you" storyline, with a gross added power issue. If things go poorly between Pob and Leon, for all Pob knows, Leon might tell his mom to stop supporting the orphanage. I don't think he would, and even if he did, I don't think it would work, but still, the fact that he might be able to do that gives Pob incentive to tolerate him. I get that Pob eventually likes Leon back, but the story is based on a plotline that I think should be left in the past. Consent is important, and harassing someone who has refused you is not okay. I get that it's supposed to be cute here, but it's an inherently inappropriate thing to do, and it's frustrating to watch it be used as a romantic plot device.
But Leofiat! They're so beautifully communicative, and Fiat is growing so much. There isn't an overarching plot, it's simply their lives. Facing different obstacles and overcoming them together. They have fantastic chemistry, and it's so lovely to see them finally be able to be intimate with each other the way they've wanted to be for so long. Hard recommend this show solely for those two.
0/10 for this season.
Also this series is excellent and leofiat are wonderful
