SPOILERSSSS I hate how they butchered Zhang Kang Le character and killed off the wife that was giving birth husband just to make his character arc worst, very unnecessary could just made him a good guy like he was for most of the show felt so out of nowhere to have this crazy love obsession and make everyone's live miserable
And what's up with the King like really weird 180 flip believing CZ and listening to him like did we forget he was the pupil of a the very corrupt official, like I feel like realistically the king would have been way more wary of him and seek advice from other officials, also where are the other officials do they even exists
Other then that I love the plot and the two mains chemistry
