When he said he enjoyed seeing her struggling man i lost it. Before I thought he might not have known that she's having a hard time refusing him because of status difference but i guess he knew it the whole time and was still pursuing her.
They could have used that pretend-to-be-deaf girl in their favour by giving false information but no the had to be dumb enough to make him suspicious of her now🤦🏻♀️
And that fighting scene.... Again he was hallucinating... He saw his gf in that Japanese athlete and unintentionally approached her violently which kinda scared her off (well obviously since he was a stranger to her) otherwise think yourself his gf who is korean suddenly became athlete for japan... does that even makes sense?
Did you see that ending scene where he is seen selling magazines and one of the girl approaches him and buys that magazine. He again Hallucinates that she is his gf but this time he snaps out of it as he has finally accepted her death.
The coach meant that his gf is watching over him (from heaven) and cheering for him. That hairband was from the coach but the coach meant that if she would have been alive she would have given the hairband to him.
