In my personal opinion LJG is a better fit for this season. His acting gives more mature, dramatic and serious vibe, while SJK was a perfect younger version a little naive and more cheerful. So it kind of make sense somehow
Why did I even start watching this while it’s still coming out? I am ok with sad endings, but with this one… feels like I am sad for no reason… because this is such a mess. They were my favourite couple, and now I just want to pretend that season 1 was their endgame.
This will be along read, sorry. I just love this drama and have so much thoughts on the ending. For me it somehow makes sense to have this kind of ending. If we look at this drama as at a process of liberation, than the end is not so open. They all was liberated from their “misery” and can now start something new.
Regarding the romance part of the drama, for me showing them together like this would be a bad ending. Mr Gu is an alcoholic with severe depression issues, so the only way of showing them getting married or smth, would be to do a time skip and show him getting mentally better. And time skip would ruin everything. I hate time skipping just for the sake of good endings.
He HAVE TO change his life. And need to do this on his own, it’s his own struggle to overcome. Meanwhile, of course MJ is teaching him how to live his life step by step and be happy, but that won’t cure his miraculously.
I don’t see any reason why they would be apart now? She is the reason why he decided to change, she liberated him. She will stand by his side giving him strength and support and at some point he will be ready to start a family with her. That’s more like real life ending, and I see it as positive, with perspectives for a good life. We can see that mr. gu was liberated from his never ending circle of misery. He wants to change, and that is a perfect start for him and end to this liberation process.
Anyway I somehow is left with positive vibes after seeing the last episode.
I am a major in fashion, so I always pay attention, and I just have to mention how good the stylists are. This kdrama visually is one the best so far if not THE best.
However, one episode about eating disorder… was done not well at all. I had eating disorder, and I have to say without proper therapy and fighting with yourself and YEARS of work, there is no way that girl could get over her ED so fast. This is one of the several situations where simple words at the right time won’t help. So they should have shown a bit more of the progress of her healing. I did not have bulimia, but was anorexic, and it took me couple of years to start eating with, not mentioning stop feeling guilty and stop seeing nonexistent fat in the mirror. As this was an episode I could relate to, I was very sad that they showed it like this, to be honest. Because it kind of create an illusion that you can be healed by talking to your friend or family. For some people that may help, but after years of struggling from ED, she would have to start therapy.
Song Kang was so good in sweet home and navillera… so what is this choice of dramas recently. Nevertheless was bearable, at least his acting there was ok and role somehow suited his acting skills, but in this one… he should stay away from romantic shows and stick with action or smth more deep like navillera
So just out of curiosity, are Ahn Keon Wook ( k’s friend) and Dae Ho dating? Because they seem like more than friends.. if that’s the thing than I like this drama even more
Saw this on Twitter"JTBC and Snowdrop team have met the youth group that file the injunction to ban the screening…
Unfortunately, I think this won’t help much, majority are international haters who are not involved in the incident. Majority don’t know the history and just copy pasting same stuff fromsome twitter thread of whatever. No studying of the topic, watching the series and than building OWN opinion. I bet they even don’t keep up with the news
The synopsis got changed. I am sure that this isn't the real one. Is it possible for random people to change the…
That’s such a strange synopsis coming from Disney+ to be honest , as it describes some events that was not shown in first episodes… usually synopsis does not spoil so much information. With this one I guess they describes first 4 episodes at least. Sooo weird However it does not include any information about NIS and That part of the series at all. Maybe they did this on purpose
With all due respect… I don’t think so. I know Kpop haters are insane, but this time it’s not them
Omg, I didn’t know.. never could inderstand those people.. still Jisoo is doing really well. So they all can watch her becoming a good actress and cry)
