YBJ actually one of my favourite actresses. I have advocated for her & still wish her to be 2FL. Problem is media & weibo has escalated the problem in which will be a distraction for the cast & crew so best for all parties right now re-cast the 2FL and part ways.

Tax Evasion Scandal. Lot of people have opinion on the matter but mine is pressure got to much on the cast and producers as YBJ softban might have future implications as her Dramas to be aired have now been stopped.

I get it 100% she to me is amazing actress, one of my favourites. She was given a soft ban few weeks ago which still allowed her to make dramas & have her finished dramas aired on TV. But softban as we found it means little, producers, actors & networks rather keep their distance which is a shame. If in few weeks they announce she is 2FL I will jump for joy but right now with everything happening including her dramas not being aired I think she has been replaced by GXT

This is a very good drama. First episode was struggling to see if did like both male and female Lead but honestly both in the drama are developing well. The supports especially the second lead pair are very very good.

I drop plenty of Dramas but so far I think the combination selected really complement eachother well. He Ze Yuan, this guy is Main Lead material, enjoying his contribution to this drama.

The word is Yuan Bingyan is refusing to leave the hotel & refusing to give up the role. Guo Xiaoting has finished doing her make-up for 2FL. I am a Yuan Bingyan fan but I am predicting based on what I have been reading she will be replaced. I think YBJ is a big loss to the drama however Guo Xiaoting promotion is actually in my opinion not a bad one, limits the collateral damage to some degree. Sure you might have some % of YBJ fans boycott this drama but I think the quality & angle GXT will bring to 2FL role will complement YM, GJ and the cast well. I give credit to the team on making this decision under these circumstances plus fact not being able to replace with another big name.

Zhu Xudan is fantastic but feel based what I have seen from her better suited to support role currently has pairing with Wang Hedi than 2FL. Zhu Xudan & Wang Hedi both have important roles & don't think producers wanted to disrupt that part of the script/drama.

Shen Yue is a gorgeous little actress, nice face and fun to watch but......

Dont take this the wrong way because plenty plenty actors/actresses have this problem and her big one is consistency. I felt her earlier works have been very good, her more recent works been average to just OK.

Wang Hedi is in this drama who did Meteor Garden with Shen Yue, but feel he shows consistency between dramas. Bambi Zhu who was paired with him in Miss the Dragon is consistent between performances in many Yang Mi dramas. I don't feel Yang Mi is too interested giving a big role to an unproven performer especially major projects. Yang Mi would be more interested giving her a support role to get a feel of her first. I think that would be a good starting point and hey it's a 3 part drama series so hope for either this one she gets added or casted in one of the other 2 installments.

We see it alot. Bai Lu I think in my opinion another one who's fans just love attacking females who pair with her males leads eg Xu Kai

I agree with you on the most part & after the news yesterday regarding the 2FL I feel more confident that finally this drama is moving towards the direction it needs to go in. I know Yang Mi has an eye injury but the way I think the script will play out from the notes I have written, I believe the cast & crew can film, work around it pretty smooth.

Same. I think this drama over the last week has been plagued by non-sense, I think this is the chance for it to get back on track & really start silencing the abuse directed at the cast on weibo

Rumours saying now that it will be Guo Xiaoting will be playing the second lead role.

Right now I am so convinced as I was before that the second female Lead to this drama is the make or break. Yuan Bingyan as much as some don't want to admit is pivotal to its success. Yuan Bingyan is the Robin to Yang Mi's Batman.

If they can't replace Yuan Bingyan keep her, if they do replace her it needs to be a like for like, an Actress with big popularity big fan base with plenty of momentum. Possible candidates I think

I think once they really address this problem this drama will start to get itself together. Minor suggestion to is get the best Wardrobe & Make Up team in the industry, the pictures released got criticism so fix this up & get the script sharpened & I think we have an excellent drama

Hey Vee I have been online checking the comments & omg they are so toxic. But my opinion going back to your point it's not just YM or GJ fans, I think it's got to nearly every fan base making these comments. It's like WW3 has erupted on that platform.

I just think DD, ZLY, YBJ all these fans plus more contributing to it as well. However I also think majority of it is coming from the GJ & YM fans.

I don't think this is something minor because how it's escalated. I know we keep discussing how these Actors are professionals & will get on with their business when the time comes but this has a feel that it will not stop, will carry on to negative reviews once the dramas are aired.

Just thinking would it be a better option now to let whomever wants to walk away now to walk away & start again on maybe 1 years time when alot of the dust has settled & things are more stable & they have a cast they are 100% happy with? Think right now it's unfair to the entire cast to sit out in limbo plus Bambi Zhu potentially in a situation she never wanted to be in.

Just so you know this is a chinese drama & plenty of weibo references will spill over, just read comments from 30 other posters. No offense but this page and weibo will mix. It's like saying Facebook will never make reference to Hollywood stars twitter or instragram pages.

Sorry but if you don't want to read weibo references then maybe you should switch to k-dramas or j-dramas.

Point number 1 its Chinese drama so weibo will have
more informational compared to FB, twitter etc. It's just how it is.

Point number 2, everyone else is making references & no doubt they are getting it from weibo, just how it is most C-Drama fans go straight to the source. I hate to break it to you that's the only social media platform these Actors go on.

Point 3 for absolute no reason again you keep attacking me. I have done nothing you, said nothing bad about any actors and actresses, if I did I took it back and apologised however you still come on with an attacking approach. I have been super peaceful with others having solid conversations yet it's yourself & few others that have no obvious interest in showing the same approach. Suggestion, you can just ignore things rather than respond. Only reason I don't respond back in an attacking tone is because I don't want to lower myself down to that level

My opinion on the matter it's on weibo, involves YM & GJ fans and no doubt other fans from other actors/actresses of course putting in their 2 cents worth. It's not like these two stars have small fan bases either. GJ has like 20 million & YM has over 112 million weibo followers, even if it's just small amount fighting that's still significant & enough to draw the attention of these actors as imagine how big their weibo notifications are getting by the second?

I get both are professionals & way both go about their works show that but same time I don't think either are ignoring this & also both might have own opinions on the matter the wider audience don't know about. We are never certain under these circumstances what everyone is thinking. For Yang Mi only thing I hope is on her mind is just recovery and rest. GJ on his mind might be 100 things eg. Timframes, Replacements, Other projects, Scheduling problems, Yang Mi health etc.

I am someone in a perfect world we just want this drama shot peacefully without it's own dramas so we can watch it. But right now we are getting the absolute opposite with plenty fallouts. I go on weibo try get the absolute latests but the producers are keeping their cards close to their chests and the fans all giving their conspiracy theory's lashing out at the opposition, just how it is.
