I feel like itās not just the FL and ML who are trapped maybe most of the characters are stuck in the script too without even realizing it yet. That part in the synopsis about every character battling their fate really gave me Extraordinary You vibes. Like maybe theyāll start waking up one by one and trying to fight back against the story or the writer, Itās such a cool concept and iām super curious to see how far theyāll go with it
Iāve been looking into this and I noticed a lot of characters are missing like He Yanās second family, Lin Shuanghe (one of my favorites) and even her ex-husband. With all these changes, I feel like they completely reworked the reincarnation part. If He Yan was never married and her "death" is different maybe instead of being reborn, she just survived and had to go into hiding. He Ru Fei also looks way stronger and more ruthless than in the novel, which is interesting. And it looks like Cheng Lusi is replacing He Yun Sheng so in the end Song Taotao will probably end up with him instead. There are just too many changes, so Iāve lowered my expectations to avoid being disappointed.

Are we even watching the same seriesš¤š¤? Because this is definitely not a harem. As the story unfolds, you'll start to understand both characters perspectives more clearly. Personally, Iāve never felt so represented by a character until I watched SCC. I was so moved that I cried during the first episode and completely hated TQ. But as the story progressed, I started to sympathize with him. I donāt see the "cheating" part because his feelings are tied to her presence in the body, something even she came to understand . Maybe give it a bit more time but if it still doesnāt resonate with you then itās simply not your kind of show and thatās totally fine.
