That there was this explosion and we see arisu injured, my conclusion was that, these ppl were given a chance to decide if they want to give themselves a second chance in life or give it up, i wouldn't comment much abt this, since i havent really read the manga, but i felt like the ppl who died in the game gave up in their life subconsciously, like in the end they are asked if they wanted to stay or leave, could mean if they want to really live or die due to the injury which was caused by the meteor.
