your review is amazing and perfectly captured the series. I actually didn't know it was based on a book. If you have read the book - was the ending extended? Do they end up together in the end?
can someone pls recommend me something with this sort of world building & this sort of relationship - golden retriever…
I really love this type of fantasy ~ incorporating historical elements as well. I loved alchemy of souls but am starting to get more hooked into cdramas
It could have been an easy 10/10 series to me, but unfortunately, I had to give it a 9 because the last 3 episodes…
I felt like it would've been a lot better if they showed her burying the moon in a plant and her nurturing the plant for 500 yrs. just odd that he came back like that no explanation
Can people feel so passionate about cheerleading? With education and career concerns, it feels hard to take this…
it's like asking why are people so passionate about dancing. cheerleadering is just a different form of dancing, although I can imagine the type portrayed in the drama is very different to the typical American Hugh school portrayal.
some people just like to dance and like to perform in front of a crowd.
I don’t know if I’m just overreacting or something, but why are they so afraid of their father?? I know he’s…
they're afraid that he will severely harm the boys, kiho in particular. the father will probably want to take Revenge on kiho for destroying his reputation, family & career
I don't know why y'all are claiming that the show's "moral of the story" was that everything works out if you…
no it was recognising that being deaf shouldn't be a weakness.
yi chan was able to show in both situations his heart & sincerity. eun gyeol didn't initially recognise how strong his father was until going back to the past. this future shows that even though it was initially a weakness for yi chan, his lack of hearing eventually became his strength.
he was also able to help save his mother from further abuse. I think the ending clearly showed the "moral of the story" I think you need to delve deeper than the 'money' side
i finished it now and im gonna f cry wHyy😭😭 that was a mf big betrayal of the scriptwriters ill have you…
I think they wanted to keep it this way to show that there's nothing wrong with being deaf, it shouldn't be a setback and it shouldn't discriminate people. It shows that despite the situation yichan was put in he was able to shine and show his heart. although it was disappointing that he went there with one objective in mind and came out failing to keep him from going deaf - but I do understand that from a writers perspective.
it just shows how powerful yi chan is and how he has managed to turn weakness into a strength.
I also low-key wish we could see more of what happened during the 38 yrs, more interactions between him & his family in the present & whether they recognised him or not.
omfg I'm literally gonna d*e of happiness what the actual heck this is soooo good so far!! did anyone else notice he has the same marking on his hand? he also died in 2023
i think otherwise as "master" has hinted at the fact that the past has been changing since they arrived and consistently…
yeah I understand that but there was meant to be an initial accident as well which they prevented - this would've broken the band up and they wouldn't have gone on the trip together if you get what I mean. I'm saying that it's constantly changing due to their impact on the past
I'm sure they won't be able to prevent it as the past cannot be changed :(
i think otherwise as "master" has hinted at the fact that the past has been changing since they arrived and consistently evolving. also if you remember the interview and initial accident that they thought was going to be the one to injure him - they did prevent it so maybe the band will continue as well?
anyone else find the difference between his voice in two different languages hilarious. it totally took me off guard bc he sounded like a little lad speaking in English. I thought they mightve gotten someone to dub it bc the voice seemed a bit too far fetched
you'll have to convert for your region
