Watching this I don't think this series is going to have a happy ending.
My guess is that Mhok and Day are going to have some kind of accident in which Mhok saves Day but dies, causing Day to take Mhok's eyes.
I would hate it, if the writers made this the ending of the series, and I would even happily take an ending where they are both alive in the end
Really hope I'm wrong.
