Somebody tell me the characters in this drama get smarter - especially the women! Yue Zheng is so clueless I'm actually enjoying how badly the ML is treating her in the hopes she will wise up and stop being so annoyingly stupid! Her maid is just as stupid. These characters! God! The writing is awful. I sure hope it gets better. I'm trying to get even half-way through this, but it is getting hard!

Spoil me please. Does she wise up? Is there a HE? WHEN!!!!!!

I think I would like the FL character if she wasn't so wishy washy. I really hope she gets more independent and proves herself worthy of the ML and SOON! Mother or not, FL needs to grow a pair and fight for him. She comes across as entitled and doesn't acknowledge that SHE was the one who broke their relationship - also, her mother was/is the villain in the story.

I'll watch till the end, not for the FL or even for the story - just to gaze at Yang Yang!! 😍😍😍

Although I am enjoying this series, the slow-burn romance was toooo slow for me. When they finally kissed for real and consummated their marriage, it was just too long in the waiting for it to be really worth it. But the story and the acting has been good so it's not a total loss.
