I have a question about why it is important to stop the Gu family from leaving?
I believe that they are doing it out of personal revenge...both Luo and Wang have their own scores to settle with the Gus...I believe that Wang has lived in inferiority to the Gus since they are seemingly more powerful that the commissioner himself and wants to see them at the lowest point...and for Luo, i think he wants their total destruction maybe even want to wipe the Gus off since the fire at his family (?) house seems to be linked to them
