I had very high expectations for this drama.
It started very good, the ML was an as***le and from the very beginning I had no admiration for him. He has a bad personality and he looks down to almost everybody in the show, he is very arrogant and being handsome and successful doesn't justify it.
So when the SML appears, and was very perfect and supportive to the FL, I was like Yeeeeey, I hope she ends up whith this person... But they have to turn him to a demon who is abusing the FL, and suddenly at the ML becomes an angel who respect and cherish Her.
I never liked the ML, what he does to her was also abusing her IMO, so i decided to drop the show.
I HOPE I can find some good drama to watch :(

I just feel like the ml is always a few steps ahead from the fl, the relationship between them is not equal and this gives me the feeling that he is bullying her ( taking away her weapon, punishing her.. )
The fl acting skills are indeed very good abd she has a good personality،

When will the ml start to be kind to the fl and stop bullying her? I'm getting really annoyed with his character.
She is smart but get easily bullied by the ml and he is very arrogant towards her. Can anyone please tell me which episode he will trust her and be nice to her?

Are my favorite historical drama

joy of life is my all time favorite drama. I hesitated a lot before watching it since it's a male centered plot with almost no romance at all, but i was looking for some high budget with good production drama so I watched it, and I was blessed.
I didn't skip any scene at all while watching JoL , all the characters were interesting and hard to predict ( except maybe the big royal princess,) . the comedy was very good.
Compared to NiF, joy of life imo is much better, not because the story is " lighter", but it was just more pleasing to watch,

I have to say this: I'm not satisfied with this drama and I think it could be so much better because it already has all the elements to be a legendary drama
( very good acting especially from the female lead, she made me cry several times, I'm extremely in love with the scene when she lost her voice I was crying I couldn't stop my self, the ML and SML did great job too and the characters were well balanced. The fighting scenes were pretty good and satisfying. The story itsel is good and have to much potential that has not been used in this drama)
Now what I didn't like is : the female lead is supposed to be an assassin, she made the choice to be an assassin rather than prostitute her self, which is her own choice and you can accept it or not, but I was waiting for her to turn into some badass killer, or have some more strong personality and can make some good decisions and not always need the male leads to have her back, but that never happened. She can't kill anybody, she fail all her mission and get herself and her shadow punished again and again, everybody is plotting against her but she never make a reaction and just prefer to kneel to the evil woman and ask for forgiveness... That is so frustrating.
Speaking about the devil woman, I can't understand also why is she hating the fl that much, she is just hating her and make everything possible to kill her without any specific reason. This character acting was also soooo exaggerated and I end up skipping all her scenes.
I don't like the SML so I'm ok with her refusing him again and again but I don't like the ending at all, it is just frustrating.

Yes I also think 24 episodes are enough

I've watched around 20 episodes.

I love this Drama.. I just think 40 episodes are too much for this plotline and I found it boring at some point so I dropped it.
The production quality and the acting are very good.

It has been a while since I've watched a good C-drama, I'm very glad to watch this serie and I recommend it without hesitation.
Just go watch it!!!

Ok I liked the drama so far and was planning to watch it till the end but thanks to this comment section I'm giving up..
I don't like lovers getting separated in dramas but still can watch it if they are going to have a happy ending.
I'm very upset right now.. can anyone recommend a good drama to watch ...
