can you tell me how many cp are in this drama? and who are the cp whose stories are worth following? because I…
I didn't feel like any story was sidelined. All stories had equal plot times and none was too boring or rushed until episode 25. After that it is a mess. To be honest too many plot lines was the thing that saved this drama as it was pleasant to see different characters stories. There wasn't enough meat in the plotlines of main lead for 35 episodes. I would recommend following all stories until episode 25. All the stories start very slowly like you will dislike until a few episodes in, after that it is really great until 25th episode, after that watch what you like and fast forward rest of the stories. You will understand even if you completely skip last few episodes.
the ending, the reasoning behind it was very good, but i feel the drama was dragged out with several useless stories just to extend the drama. the drama is pretty realistic, and i enjoyed that aspect, but the open ending tensed me up. seriously why did it have a open ending, no ending was given to the killers, no ending was given to yuri and her plan, no ending was given to what the main lead was planning, it was just like the drama writer stopped the drama abruptly so that the ending would look cool. the ending was one thing i hated the most in the drama, only the murder was solved and all the others were just left as cliffhangers. still an okay drama for suspense fans.
I had the same reaction. LY blaming ZHF that way was uncalled for. He needs to be shot down from his moral high…
well this is well seen in asian dramas where they like creating drama around medical background, but fail to follow the ethics and laws abided by the doctors and just add their spice to make it dramatic, which totally makes it unrealistic, while american series tend to stick to ethics. i am saying this since i too am a medical student and i have first hand knowledge about it. having this on hold, let's see whether i change my mind in the future to watch it.
in the very first episode, they have broken the medical code of ethics. did lin yi actually doze off and skipped medical laws and ethics or he thinks he is a mother Theresa reincarnate, since CONSENT is needed from a patient. you can't handcuff a patient and force them to undergo treatment just because they are in emergency.
this drama is one good example of writers damaging plot flow to extend the number of episodes. the first 25 episodes were masterpiece and all the plotlines were interesting, i was even hooked on to the stories of the hotel staff. but 26-35 was a disaster and i wish they could have given a proper ending at episode 25. miscommunication problems, infidelity problems and several others were forcibly inserted into the plot. xiaoke character was becoming less and less likeable, chen binbin character was destroyed, xu ke yi plot was extended over a unwanted forced in problem, which could have been dealt over a frank talk. to be honest, nuan nuan storyline and the storyline of the single father and troubled daughter were the only good plot lines in 26-35 and i was watching the remaining 10 episodes to complete it. but still i gave it a 8.5 since this drama is miles ahead of contemporary idol and ceo chinese dramas.
This is very much run of the mill drama with cinderella female lead and prince charming male lead. Maybe if they had touched on a little bit of reality, this would have been a really good drama, but this drama was a bore right from the beginning....
The father's character was written with an error. The way he is represented as a weakling working on orders of his wife is all normal, but the emotion showed only in the last episode could have been showed throughout the series. Subtle acts of parental care which the father showed for his daughter could have been deeply highlighted to build up their strong relationship inspite of the evil mother. Too bad it was reserved only for the last episode. I don't mind the whitewashing since it is common in indian culture to forgive brothers and sisters and help them, but the father daughter bonding was the only one i really missed....
There wasn't a solid story. If the story was told in a normal pace, it wouldn't have lasted more than 8 episodes. But the writers had dragged it unnecessarily in the name of feelings to 15 episodes. And the male lead, I couldn't really understand him right till the end, whether he couldn't forget margaret, or whether he is in love with diamond, I couldn't say it even after completing the drama. The dialogues are pretty bad and the whole set up seemed like a artistic drama where arthouse elements were seemed to force into it. I watched it right till the end for diamond, and the sous chef paul. All other stories were shit.
I wouldn't recommend starting this drama unless if you don't have any other drama to watch.
Really this ml character is too horribly written. A person can be genius, but to become a sought after teacher who have the talent to teach effectively takes time. The best teachers whose classes i have attended till now all are above age 40-50. This itself is ridiculous in this drama, on top of that there is also the male lead can solve maths problems in real life shit. Seriously, maths and theory everything works good on paper but when you bring it to real life, there are several variations and it isn't really possible to correlate every possible step in real life to mathematics. And thirdly how could a maths teacher have the knowledge of a police detective!!! These asian dramas should tone down the superpower of male leads, and the ceo male leads, it is frustrating. Dropped at ep 1
Ok, I won't talk about relationships here since it is personal preference, but the divorce cases in this drama always has the reason of cheating but in real life, financial issues, inlaws and husband orthodox pressure, constant fights, unhappy marriage and so many other reasons are there for divorces which are not at all explored here. And several divorce cases, apart from the ML'S own cases, the male lead could have filed additional complaints, but he being a divorce lawyer is always searching for peace and settlement, which was rubbish. And the drama keeps on emphasising in its divorce cases that cheating should be swept under the rug and wife is supposed to forgive husband for cheating since husband loves her, which is even more rubbish, husband can do anything he want and finally get on with his wife after admitting his mistakes!! Chinese men should learn to repent and realise that wine and women are cause for destructionand these drama writers should learn to give them a severe hit so that people would dare to do in real life. Overall the main couple relationship was the only good thing in the drama. FL mother was another irritating waste luggage which could have dropped at the beginning itself, but was carried around. I wouldn't recommend this drama, but if you don't have a choice, this one is a time pass
Really one of the best written dramas i have seen. I usually guess most of the plotline mysteries due to their predictability but this one was unpredictable until the last minute. I could have watched another episode of their future or an extra 10 minutes or so of it in the last episode, but sadly i couldn't. Still the director left it at good point. Hats off to him!!!
This drama was flat out boring. Only good thing in this drama is that there is no overacting like Japanese dramas. Other than that it is just a boring informative drama. You can preach a message through a drama, but you can't make a drama without a proper story and just episodes are randomly designed to tell the message. Instead of watching this drama, if you are interested only in getting information you can read several articles on web which might have better and more reliable info.
is there a love triangle and is the romance is good and how the skinship between ml and fl if there any!?? thank…
Male lead doesn't approach the female lead as long as she was in the relationship with sml. And their relationship starts only after that. But as i said this has very little but good romance.
is there a love triangle and is the romance is good and how the skinship between ml and fl if there any!?? thank…
Romance takes time to develop, but it is very very minimal, i am a romance addict, but i couldn't list out that this is a romance show. Romance appears like in the last 5-6 episodes i think so and there is this romance story of his friend. But still i enjoyed watching it twice. There is like a triangle, but this triangle is not overdone and you can't call it a triangle since female lead doesn't juggle between two relationships and is not indecisive. Situation arises due to which female lead develops a relationship with sml. And male lead doesn't force his feelings on her. But the ending romance is 100% wholesome and satisfying
Female lead and second male lead are worse in this drama. I don't really understand this triangle concept in asian dramas. Like why would go after a person who is already committed to a relationship when there are millions of eligible partners. Female lead couldn't make up her mind till the last episode in this drama and is easily brainwashed by her coworker's thoughts. Just because of a rejected proposal, she didn't think twice and went home with another man. And she got angry on male lead for asking about it. But the male lead and the past of the main couple is definitely worth watching the drama. In fact i binged this drama only because of male lead. His acting was perfect and his character was perfect. And the idiotic scriptwriters seemed to have lost the female lead character in the past and it seemed like i was watching an amnesiac female lead. If the screenwriter had toned down the selfishness of female lead and cut out the unwanted love triangle, i would have rewatched this drama 5 times. Still i will suggest to watch this drama. The female lead seems to have a redemption of character, but I don't think this couple would stay together if it were a real life
One of the best dramas i have watched. Every character in this drama has an acceptable redemption in this series. No human is without flaws and the way we learn to correct them is what makes us. And this drama had true to life characters. At first i didn't like the female character, but towards the end she became one of my favourite characters.... Compared to several other indecisive and cheating female leads in kdrama, this female lead is very strong and doesn't play on others feelings.
This show has so many problems on so many levels... The unprofessionalism of both doctors and a bet about another…
I myself am a doctor here. First of all what the doctors did couldn't have been considered unprofessionalism. They never did this on a ramdom patient, this patient is her former crush and a very well known person. Secondly what they did was wrong, but believe me there is no doctor who only does correct things in the world. Any professional employee would have committed some unprofessional works in his life. Humans are flawed and that's what differentiates them from robots. This drama is perfect drama about flawed characters.
This drama was excellent upto first 6 episodes, 7th and 8th episode was good, the rest from 9th episode to end was trash. Unnecessary filler episodes where leads hide their relationship throughout a whole episode for no hell reason. Two triangles in the drama which could have been avoided.
Thesr guys have made a down to earth slice of life drama. But I don't know why they had included this stupid fantasy of love triangle. And this second main lead was a total joke he keeps remembering his love and comes back as a prince from the past to the female lead. Yeon guk story could have been edited out and love story of the bar owner would have been great. Every heartbreaking side story in the drama was finished within minutes while stupid love story of leads was dragged on.
To be honest, i loved romance, comedy and slice of life in first 6 episodes, while in the remaining episodes i seeked through all romance scenes and only watched the slice of life scenes which were directed good.
The directors seemed to have been confused and mixed a formulaic korean drama with a down to earth story and made a hot mess out of it
All characters aren't perfect but flawed and real and there are no perverts in this series. The father story was a little messed up but all other stories were perfect.
a really good lakorn, plot was mixed up in the middle and you wouldn't understand what's going on, i couldn't even understand whether the item was real or fake even after completing the drama. but still the light hearted and comical way of handling the drama without stereotypes was great. definitely worth watching....
