Sehee's character is improperly written to create jealousy and villain. To be honest, i don't even know if she is really human. She says she loves hyunho, then jealously asks yesuk about the rumor. Then goes on to create problems for female lead. And does that college have that much rarity for men that sehee has to love only these two idiots who go behind female lead??
You could say all the characters are bad in this drama. Male lead should be like CHOI WOO SHIK in OUR BELOVED SUMMER, not HWANG JUNG NIM in THAT FOOL.🤣🤣😂😂 The female is oblivious and irritating to the core. Is she that blind to second male lead's approaches, and how could she let the rumors go on with second male lead when he is such as creep. And second male lead is also as bad as sehee. When he says he is okay with the rumor, indirectly meaning that he was enjoying it, i was creeped to the core. And rest of all characters are either in a triangle or not there in the drama. You could say this is a triangle fetish, not a drama.
And i too am watching it because of guilty pleasures 🤣😂😂😂 i too don't like it, but i am torturing myself to watch this crap, as i mistakenly started it, and this drama is good punching bag too. After watching this drama, i could freely curse at its stupid story and direction, and laugh out all my anger. You're right on track. The best mistake series seems to recycle same decade old webdrama stories without bringing anything new. This is bad even by webdrama standards. You could say this drama was initially upto episode 8 was bearable and somewhat intriguing but the writers don't know what is college and mature romance stories in college, and seem to recycle the same old triangle stories which are watched by children. Better comparisons for webdramas could be GROWING SEASON, where three romance stories were dealt differently without triangles, MISS INDEPENDENT JIEUN, again a college drama with good romance without triangle, and good examples for 16 episode drama could be YOU RAISE ME UP, FIGHT FOR MY WAY, where romance was wholesome without triangle, since the writer thought out of the box into the reality.
But here the best mistake writers has built a box called BEST MISTAKE, and put forward a story for season 1 into it. And they keep using this same box for all seasons and have vowed to never create a mature drama i think so. And draggy as hell, i don't think these writers would ever enter the normal drama market any soon due to their lack of intuition. All the romance stories in this drama is nothing but triangle, triangle triangle. Anyways, it is our fault for expecting something good from these writers. As soon as I found the college setting, i thought they would move out of these immature stories, but someone needs to thrash them to do so.🤣🤣😂😂😂
Completed this drama and to be honest drama quality in terms of plot was good and interesting in first three quarters, and the last quarter was crap, literal crap. Well, they characterized female lead's father and brother to be really really bad, and gave them redemption in a few episodes, and personally I could never connect to it. If the story of first three quarters was continued in the last quarter, then female lead should have left her father like the female lead in HERE'S MY PLAN, or the male lead in INTO THE RING. But the female lead and male lead here are shown as the most righteous persons in the world, and were much more forgiving, than a fool. The way both these villains were forgiven made it pretty unrealistic. In real life, never would a child forgive such a father. You could say the female lead's donated blood, did this and that etc..., but ultimately he cursed her with his own mouth and asked her to leave the house so he could give it to his brother. I don't know is this kind of father really forgivable!!! And male lead, where did you become righteous to help her brother huh!!! Anyways I liked this story upto 36-37 mark, and the story started falling after 40 mark, where they started forgiving every villain in the drama. And female lead's brother's lover, where do you have your brains??? I don't know, did she really love the brother because of his looks, and degraded another guy because he was ugly??? I wanted to slap that normal looking guy, as he helped that superficial brothers lover. So all in all, the only redeemable characters are the male and female lead, male Lead's father and female lead's sister, and the doctors. Male Lead's mother was terrible beyond redemption, female lead's mother silently agrees with her father but then scolds him when problem comes like a snake. And female lead's brother's entire in laws and wife was unforgivable. Still I would watch it for the main couple and gave it an 8 because of them, and literally i expected a hell lot from this drama and though this was okay, this crashed my expectations......

Waaah, just being in the neighbouring country, but Chinese men are a lot similar to us Indians in terms of patriarchy and laziness. Due to job unavailability, most Indians laze around rather than doing productive work, and you can observe this in most Indian movies where hero is unemployed and goes behind heroine. Now i diverted out, coming back to the drama, i would have hated it if the female lead had left her brother walk over her with his cunning tactics, but female lead is very good, except that her screws are loose when it comes to male lead. I don't find fault in male Lead's mom as 30 is expiry date for arranged marriage, and she wants her son to get married. And the patriarchy is one hell i never like when it's overdone, but here it is on par, and is actually real, and some sort of patriarchy shown in this drama happens in my family too.
While the reality is good, i hate those lazy guy and the father who supports his laziness. Observing this frequently in my life, i hate unemployed guys roaming around and falling in love with their handsome face, while hardworking bums like me with half my hair fallen off in 20s, find a difficult time to love, because of my baldness. Sure i can't change this, but one thing i could do is thrash my future son to get a job rather than sleeping in my money. And who is that idiot who fell in love with that jobless brother of the female lead??? Any woman in their 20-30s would have a good knowledge about the importance of money, and would chose their partner wisely. Well, that woman is totally cartoonish who still thinks love is from fairytales and money is falling from trees. I feel pity for her father and mother 😥😥
Anyways at the end of 3 episodes, this drama totally hooked me on, with its sense of reality, those some screws are very loose and irritates me at some times....
At episode 3 and wah, the way they show female lead as a damsel in distress is disgusting. Male lead was irritating at first, but now he is less irritating, as his smiles has reduced gradually. I am not a fan of this actor park shi hoo, not because of the scandal, but because this guy doesn't know to act other emotions rather than putting a broad smile in his face, and is as stiff as a rod. Now though the male and female leads have a problem and spend money like water, i enjoy watching this show because of the female lead. It is funny how the rest of the characters trash the female lead. I am in the team against female and am enjoying watching karma working against her. Though her father was rash, what he said wasn't wrong at all. All the female lead wants to do was to eat and play around with her father's money. And on top of that, she does shameless things and brings dishonour to her father, on top of being a gold digger. Any parent would have gone even farther than her father for her actions. As longs as she remains trash, i think i will enjoy this show. And when they show this sudden transformation, i will sure hit the director. And by the way, the secondary couple is so cute, and the second female lead is one of my favourites though she is not styling like the female lead. Am watching each and every scene of second female lead...🔥🔥🔥🔥

If it is japanese, then the funny tone of the manhwa would be ridiculed by overreaction. 😂😂😂 There is one japanese drama by Airi Matsui of a similar concept, but you will die even before passing through 5 episodes of the crap, btw i dropped at episode 5.

Yeah, the manhwa is just funny story similar to SM sitcom, so you won't have any melodrama here. In 121 chapters i read, no single melodramatic scene is found. And no thrilling scene, nor any tragic scene, so only happy and comedic scenes all through 121 chapters. Even when male Lead's ex girlfriend comes back, male lead deals it maturely rather creating unnecessary drama on it. So that part of manhwa was also comedic. So, the ending would also be comedic and happy. And no triangles, indecisiveness, immaturity so no chance for anxiety or tragedy.
