So I'm currently watching this drama and am on episode 33. MZX has finally found out she is a royal princess of the previous dynasty. One thing that irks me is the fact that nobody has acknowledged the fact that her foster dad General Ma also took part in the slaughtering of her bio family. He just so happened to feel bad for the pregnant princess and saved her which is how MZX was able to even exist. But somehow he is able to be absolved of his crimes but not Prince Bo?! One could argue "oh the emperor made him do it". Okay but the emperor made them do it this time around as well. And technically Prince Bo didn't kill her family, it was done behind his back. And yet MZX is seeking vengeance for a man who also played a part in slaughtering her family. Oh the irony of it all😆

Currently watching his drama and already have a major gripe. Why are the FL and her friends/family portraying the ML as a deadbeat dad?! He just found out he has a kid! And he only found out because the FL was desperate at that moment so she told him. They making it seem like he purposely stayed away and didn't help take care of his kid. I'm still waiting for somebody to step up and say well hello he didn't even know he had a kid because she never told him so no he is not a deadbeat dad!

Love this drama! Have watched twice now. One thing has been bugging me though. One of the thugs (Kang Ho pkayed by Choi Won-Myeong) from Chil Seong's crew disappeared around episode 24 or so. Could never find out what happened. Does anybody know what happened to him/why he wasn't in later episodes?

Finally finished this drama after binge watching for a week. It was so dreadful and depressing it's a miracle I finished it as I don't typically watch dramas like this. Not to say I haven't watched dramas with sad endings but this drama took it up to a level 10 with the sadness. There was some good vengeance in between and good vengeance at the end, but not at all a happy ending. However, overall its an awesome drama! Now I need to find a happy drama to watch to help me recoup from this one😆 Side note, if anyone feels this is a spoiler let me know and I'll put a spoiler tag.

Right! Historically he died after ruling for like 35yrs. And from my research, it wasn't from poison.

Omg finally watched this! Can't blv I waited so long to watch. I never wanted to watch because it didn't look interesting to me and I didn't think I would like it. But after it was recommended numerous times I said I would give it try and I'm so glad I did, I absolutely loved it! Now there are some unrealistic plots. But what do you expect, it is a kdrama after all😆 Overall, I loved it and definitely recommend.

So finally on the last episode of this drama. Overall, it was ok. After watching it I can see why it got some of the negative comments that it did. It really did seem to drag at times. Story could be finished in less than 15 episodes if it didn't drag so much. And some of the plot/writing was ridiculous at times and made me want to scream. I found myself skipping through scenes by episode 9 lol. Like I'm on episode 15 right now and it's still being dragged out LOL But one thing that annoyed me was telling 2 grown adults they can't get married. Why are grown adults asking for permission to get married especially when they got kids already. I mean seriously?! Make it make sense!
