Lol. Nah. It's simple. Kyu wanted to become human, so he bit a buman, made him a vampire and he in turn became a human.
Unfortunately, since he's now a human, he's now susceptible to human diseases, illness and accidents and he died before Poom crossed over to the human world.
The latter part of this is only valid if he actually does have a twin.. Otherwise, it'll be that he's pretending to get away from the impending revenge. If he actually has a twin, then that will be Kin.. Kin is either interested in Poom or wants to know the relationship between Kiw and Poom and so he asked for Poom's number.
