Ming acted like Diddy in that footage and y'all are excusing that bad behavior. I fear for your safety.

You changed your name?😁

I didn't realise you guys were here. I would have come here since. Comment sections without the chaos gang is boring asf. That's why I rarely use comment section these days.

As much as I agree with you, and I also said it yesterday that this is not a normal behavior in real life. these…
Yes, i agree these series are needed to portray real life situations. This is why such series should end with the victim finding freedom. Turning an abuse into a love story with happily ever after is just reaffirming the real life toxicity which we actually need to help people from.

I have seen people who were killed by their spouses in real life. Most of them couldn't get away. They were too weak and would always accept the apologises every time their spouses abuses them. Most of them cannot recognise that they are being abused. It's psychological and that is why a show like this would have been very good in educating the fandom.
The abuse rarely stops. Not until the victim becomes a shadow of themselves and some wind up dead.

I am severely in playboyy withdrawals. I don't know where else we'll get a cult classic like that.

Have seen houses and lives being destroyed bcoz of this 'I can fix him ' attitude and the ' he has CHANGED ' .…
I agree. I can fix him and I can change him is one of the most life destroying decisions ever. Luckily, I learnt that early in my teens, so I made sure to never ever try that nonsense ever again.

You'll be shocked people fantasize about relationships like these. In fiction, they find it exciting and they think it's exciting as well in real life. I pray they never experience what abuse is like.

That's why i said he's already asking the wrong questions. He is now curious about what Ming wanted to tell him before his death.
He's definitely not asking to find closure. Trust me.
He's asking because he's still an utter fool for Ming.

Dont mind me. I'll just rant and leave.

I watched this episode yesterday but could not write a review because I wasn't in the headspace for that.

Before ep 4, I would have accepted a redemption arc for Ming but after ep 4, I know that I would never accept nor want Ming for Joe even if the show ends that way.
This is not love. Love would not make you bash someone's head with a bat and then chain him to a couch out of a twisted form of jealousy.
There is a difference between love and obsession and there is also a difference between love and possession.
Love will not break you nor leave scars on you.

Ming does not want to be alone. He's been enjoying using Joe as a Stand-In for Tong. He literally only fucks him from the back and only shows him affection from the back. I don't know in what universe this behaviour is deemed acceptable or seen as love but in my world, this behaviour would put someone in a cell.

This would have been an opportunity in the BL world for a show to have educated the fandom about abuse, recognising it and how to get away from it, but as usual, the show is gonna have a fairy-tale ending. What a joke!

The actors are doing a marvelous job but it doesn't change the fact that Joe should have gotten away from Ming. Ming took everything from him.
Joe now have a second chance at Life and should enjoy having a mom, learn to make better decisions and get far away from Ming and his toxicity. He can literally find work anywhere else but Joe is already asking the wrong questions and Joe would end with a reformed abuser.

I hope the young ones in this fandom understands that these kind of behaviours are not acceptable and should never be romanticise because I know that we have some as young as 9-10yrs old watching these shows.

Rant over!🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️

True.
Me too. I'm watching My Stand-In and Wandee Goodday and I'm not even judging anyone at all.
Previously, a show like Ny Stand-In will hurt me and i will be angry at the characters but I'm having fun with it.
