I think Khem would rather drop off Wela. You can't say because Wela was dropped off, it meant that he was setting up a meet and greet. While Wela is sassy and all, I do not accept that he is manipulating any situation. Wela's mom did not even see Khem when he dropped Wela off. It literally could have been anyone who dropped him off as far as mom is concerned.
Do you know if Wela wanted to go alone but Khem refused? This isn't the first time we see this in shows. Even in reality, I would be happy if a friend wants to drop me off as long as it's not going to inconvenient them.
