One thing i have come to understand is that this situation differs for a lot of people. For some people, alcohol makes them unable to consent because they do not know what they are doing while intoxicated and therefore cannot consent.. For others, alcohols serves to embolden them while helping them let go of their self restriction temporarily to do what they otherwise would have wanted to do when sober. I think in this case Wela belonged to the latter. Also, although Khemthis kissed him, I don't think he did more than that. For that, I'm grateful. Otherwise, it would have been horrible in the morning if Wela had been frightened out of his mind.. I hate those tropes the most.
