I think the problem is, half of the BL community is filled with teenagers and then they are used to seeing Asian shows "as chaste" unlike the western ones.

Some even went as far as reporting to "Copyabangkok" and insulting them, as well as the actors. I saw a writeup where someone wrote to copyabangkok that "it's bad enough that your show is trash, even worse is that your actors are embarrassing themselves on Tiktok".

I was so pissed. Like, if you don't like the show or hate it, it's valid but what's not valid is insulting the poor actors who did nothing wrong to you. If they don't like the show, drop it. That's not too hard to do.
