Although, Dao can be annoying, she didn't even do a quarter of what Chart did but here she is, hated so much and nearly everyone wants her to disappear right from the moment she spoke about "Phaya's work".
If Dao was a male character, I bet there would be people writing long epistles from the character's previous 100 lifetimes, garnering sympathy for him and explaining why we should understand his current behaviour and the reason he's acting like that. I hereby agree with the user who said there's so much misogyny in BLs against women and the bar for women in BLs is surprisingly low. Everyone will only like the female if she is a supportive BFF but God forbid if she's a love interest or interested in one of the leads. Surprisingly, most of the misogyny stems from other females.

Charlie, Jeff, Pete and Babe are all Tony's victims, including every other kid that Tony has adopted and sold off.
From what I gathered from the show, Charlie was known to not "have any powers " even though he is an alpha. If anything, he suffered more than Way who is an enigma. This means he was deem inferior and defective.
Way has left Tony's side for 10yrs but "chose" to remain Tony's mole.
Kenta "chose" to be Tony's assistant and right hand man.
Jeff and Charlie chose to say "enough is enough."
Babe and Pete "chose" to leave and try to take Tony down.
These are the choices they made for themselves. AS YOU MAKE YOUR BED, SO YOU'LL LIE ON IT.

So coming around to expect sympathy for a character that literally immobilised his "supposed bestie of 10yrs" and tried to rape him while hiding under the "I did it for us" speech is absurd. We all know he didn't try to rape Babe for Tony. He did it to fulfill his selfish desires because he desired Babe for himself. He literally said he was going to "revenge" on Babe.
You want me to feel sorry for Way? Heck No.
Why did his twisted mind not have any desire to "revenge" on Tony? But it's Babe he wanted to do that to, for what reason exactly? Because his feelings were not returned?
