Exactly. I thought they omitted a lot of things because they were forced to work around the whole omegaverse thing but this ep clearly shows that there are things they are still allowed to say. So why didn't they explain and make it clear? They don't have to reveal everything from ep 1 but atleast they should have started with introduction bit by bits, any by now, the audience should fully understand what omegaverse is and how that world works.

I had assume even if he has absorbing powers, it would be mixed with transference, which mean he'll be able to return it to the owner but alas! The writers decided to go with "he'll die before he can return it". So Babe is supposed to be okay with his powers taken away by his lover? So that's how he protects Babe?

I didn't even get enough sincerity from Charlie when he apologised. Saying "you have to forgive me anyway cos I won't break up with you" made me want to smack him into oblivion.
If they had fleshed the apology and forgiveness properly, I would have been okay with it because I had already guessed what Charlie's powers were the moment Babe lost his.

Exactly what I've been thinking. He betrayed Babe's trust. Imagine knowing that every time they were intimate, he was siphoning his powers bit by bits. He took a part of Babe without his knowledge or consent. That's betrayal!!! I don't care whether he did it with good intentions. That was Babe's decision to make and he took that away.
Bro, putting myself in Babe's shoes, I just can't. I know Babe will eventually forgive Charlie but forgiving him that quickly was so off putting. It left a weird taste in my mouth. I couldn't enjoy their kisses anymore. I really wanted to know why Babe will do that because there has to be an explanation for it.

From the show, Charlie told Babe that Babe is a special alpha. This is why Babe is very valuable because a special alpha can get pregnant by an enigma and this makes Babe a perfect breeding horse for supernaturally strong children.
