Imagine people used to complain that Thai BLs were University based and mostly has fantasy elements, with little to no connection with reality. Finally, Thai BLs are evolving to show gay content which are similar to reality and are mature yet people complain to no end. It's disheartening. I think people now have too much high expectations towards Thai BLs compared to other countries. They claim other countries BLs are now better than THAIs and would bash every series coming out for one reason or the other. If they don't like the BL content coming out of Thailand, why not stop watching them? For a country that dares to venture into BL territories that others are afraid to, people still dare to complain of every single thing.. Go chexk out the ratings from BL shows from other countries like Korean, Taiwan etc. The ratings are always high but for me, most of them doesn't make sense even though the Leads have chemistry. If there are no NC scenes, they complain. If there are, they complain. If it's fast paced, same. If it's slow, even more so. For a controversial show like Playboyy, I respected myself and avoided that place like a plague.
