Contrary to what most people say, this is my top BL for 2023 for many reasons, most especially due to everyone who made watchingit fun. The comment section was so engaging and it made watching extra fun. Although I've seen other BLs I might rate a 10 such as IFYLITA, Last Twilight and maybe Pitbabe, none provoked my emotions like OF. This show made me feel everything strongly. I anticipated and feared every incoming new ep.

Nothing prepared me for how emotional this show is 😭😭😭.
Slow paced but I like it.
The actors playing young Soon and young Ong-sa are very good, especially the latter. His ability to portray his emotions is amazing. Even when he was supposed to be happy with young Soon, I could still see the pain in his eyes.
Also, kudos to the actor who played older Soon. I felt the pain he went through and it brought tears to my eyes.

If you want to see this show, my advice is, take it easy and be patient. The first few eps are going to be very confusing and you'll have lots of questions but eventually, everything will fall into place and you'll understand. There might be one or two plotholes but those can be ignored.
