What in the world!!! Who the heck has this much time on their hands to match photos? Still, the similarity between both photos is too much that if they aren't dating, then it would be seriously creepy.
Perhaps, there's another explanation for this.

Like I've been watching Japanese series for a long time (non-BLs), so I'm quite used to their overacting. I enjoy it even. The problem here isn't the script. Atleast, the script shouldn't exactly matter in ep 1 of any series. The problem is the execution of the comic scenes.
The actor might be good but might also not be suited for such actions such as talking to himself in order to make the audience laugh.

The intro first threw me off. I didn't understand what the heck I was seeing. I thought I was high even though I didn't touch a drop of alcohol.

I'm not ready 😭😭. Once it starts airing, I'll run away from the comment section because a lot of people are going to come here pretending they didn't see the trailer or Tag which clearly states that there is prolonged nudity and sex industry.

Be glad you didn't read the novel out of curiosity like me who wanted to continue the novel from where the series stopped. I can tell you that I vomited when I read such graphic description of how Gu Hai raped the other. It's so infuriating how the author swept it under the rug and how the novel lovers pretended that it didn't happen.
I can tell you that this is the series/show/BL/book I hate the most in my entire life.
Sensitization about heavy topics is different from romanticing it.

Of course Vee will eventually be worn down. It's either he accepts Sky with such aggressive pursuit or he gets a restraining order against him. I doubt Vee would have even think of that seeing that he was in love with Sky before.
I mean, with the amount of touching and playfulness they had back then in College, I don't blame Vee for having feelings for Sky. Which male friends are that close and touchy with each other?

I know. He lived fine without him. Vee has moved on, yet he suddenly have feelings for Vee or he just discovered he has feelings for Vee?
Then he proceeds to badger Vee, shows up unannounced and continue to pester him while trying to get into his pants using various methods.
I started disliking J because he obviously ignores his own brother's objections and proceeds to do whatever he wants by listening to Sky.

For someone like me who can stand the overacting in Japanese series to be unable to stand the crap in this first ep, says a lot. At least, the Japanese are able to make theirs work. I don't know WTH I was watching neither could I stand it. Believe me, I tried...

I'm currently in ep 4 and here's my review:
There's something I would never understand or ever like in BLs. You go after someone, aggressively pursuing and love bombing them and they make it clear that they are not interested in you anymore, why not just stop? At some point, this was worse than stalking. Sky was not obligated to return Venus's affection back then in college, and Venus has a right to not wanna be Sky's friend anymore if his feelings for Sky is making life difficult for him and is affecting his mental health. Likewise, Venus is not obligated to return Sky's new-found feelings.
Yet, somehow, Venus is being called a brat and accused of playing too hard to get. Apparently, saying NO doesn't matter anymore. Crazy world we live in.
Comments like "ah, Sky is so patient with Vee" are funny. As if he's doing Vee a favour by pursuing him.
I'm sure at some point Venus is going to cave in and will be worn down.
I find Sky extremely annoying.

Point 3- I still think Muffin is being used for the cutesy and comic role. She definitely can tell Meen likes Guy. She's just acting.

5- No more drinks for Guy. I want him lucid whenever every thing is happening.

Okay. I understand what you mean now. Truthfully, BL does have a lot of unrealistic plots, most especially what you mentioned and also "everyone being gay" in a BL world. But overtime, we get used to these plots and don't really bother about them anymore. Now, I'm glad more BLs are beginning to actually combine fiction and reality to make their shows. This shift is really important and I hope they continue to evolve.

It's truly hard to read tone online sometimes. I was touchy when I read your comments because I have recently seen a similar comment where someone commented about the actors looks and said something along the lines of " all these boys should undergo sex change surgery, as none of them actually looks male".
