Don't worry. As long as the local audience loves it, the others hardly matters and they can yap until they get tired. I don't know why many interfans really think everything is about them or should be for them. They don't get the humour? That's fine, but they are really going too far with all the bullcrap they keep spewing. Thankfully, we still have some interfans with sense who understands that some shows can't appeal to everybody and thus, they just drop it and move on since they don't like it anyway. Then we also have interfans like me who loves and understands nearly all types of humour.
To me is absurd that this is ranking higher than the original Japanese version. Makes no sense!
Maybe because some people prefer this, me included? I mean haven't you considered that possibility? The OG version of certain shows isn't always necessarily the best.
