Three thoughts from an outsider's perspective:1. Would censoring or cancelling creative work not be totally anti-democtratic…
I feel sorry about the blind hate this drama is receiving. Your third point is a major possibility and I wish people were patient enough to wait for more eps to find out the backstory.
The synopsis already mentioned that he has a lot of secrets. There's no confirmation yet what his motive was or if he's actually a NK guy or not. That could be the twist maybe who knows. It's pathetic how people are suddenly woke and patriotic just to hate on something. Only 2 eps has been released so far. Let's see what they have in the coming eps. Any drama fan would know that it's too early to predict the story, they have endless scope to deviate the story moving forward. So yeah, its childish to jump to conclusions so soon and spew hatred. Also I read a lot of people mentioning "romanticisation" of NSA. Idk where that came from. They have no where glorified NSA. Even her friend mentioned how student activists are labelled as NK spies for protesting and if I am not wrong isn't that the historical fact that haters claimed to have been distorted by the makers. And also even if NSA has wrongly labelled students as spies to suppress the uproar, there would've been actual NK spies too in the country at that time who had other assigned missions and he could be revealed as one of them later. Maybe!
