yeah but that was when the chairman was alive. she's almost always showing her resentment towards chairman for taking her son away. so she might want to destroy saeon without possibly harming her husband's campaign.

but technically both the leads don't have a family or mother who'd lovingly make them kimchi and sent it to them in containers to be kept in the refrigerator. hence the canned kimchi is an accurate product placement. kimchi is a major prop in most dramas showing their love and affection to the person they give it to you but for others who are alone they can just get kimchi from the stores and experience a bit of the feeling themselves. (stopppp I'm just trying to be too deep😭🤣)

idk if I missed anything but wasn't the ML eating fish as well in the childhood flashback with the bald man at the shop? so technically both real saeon and ML eats fish right. or am I missing something

I think it's Saeon's mother(mrs.baek). she seems to dislike ML a lot and probably did this to ruin his marriage

I've never really understood how their rating works tbh. my best guess is that since tv audience is mainly older generation, modern romances may not appeal to them and younger people prefer watching it on streaming platforms. if I remember it right even dramas like lovely runner had similar rating on korean tv

I love how I can experience all kinds of emotions from excitement on fri-sat to anxiety on other days of waiting with people who have with absurd usernames and drama scene pfps. it's a safe space where I can be as deranged and obsessed as I want about this drama and not be afraid of being judged. the ep started off really well. tbh I felt it was a bit dragged towards the middle of this ep but I'm so soo glad they made it up in the last 10 minutes with how heejo revealed her secret withoit taking it on any further and ofc the 💋

I think that ring belonged to someone in the baek family cuz in one of the scenes Sang U saw the ring in his childhood on a picture in the mansion where he used to play with the psycho kid.

idk if im wrong but I think the person who tried to drown ML in his nightmare was wearing a ring too, maybe the same one

from the spoilers I read he stages a blast and makes it known to everyone that baek saeon is dead and comes back as his real self to heejo.

pdj can't be the real saeon cuz the real Baek saeon was replaced cuz of his psychotic and antisocial tendencies. so there's no way he would be able to behave so well and be meticulous with the plan. now the person who fits the description well is the kidnapper himself. my new theory is that real saeon/baek family had something to do with the death of those kids including one of the twins from the orphanage. PDJ might be the twin that survived and thereby trying to get revenge. but again PDJ must be smart enough to figure out it wasn't ML who did any harm, so my theory falls flat there.

Or a second possibility is someone close to PDJ was harmed by ML unintentionally(or maybe someone made him think so?) and he's here to seek revenge and also got real psycho baek saeon onto the plan. in this theory there's no relation of do jae from childhood. but again this raises questions about why theres so much screen time of sang U investigating about the orphanage.

but the issue here is it seems like jo Dae is the one leading this whole plan to bring down saeon instead of the psycho real son. this doesn't make any sense

I thought the kidnapper might have listened to her telling saeon she'd return the phone and end up attacking her before she meets him.
