It could be but the post production moments between them two it's forcing too fast too much for a strong chemistry/attraction where clearly because of the lack of experience from FL it doesn't quite deliver for me so I'm not feeling it at all.
If it takes a dark turn and more concise or even different directing then yeah, worth the watch for sure, there is potential especially because of the ML , detectives very good acting and story-line being quite interesting.

Totally get you. I can't even finish the 2nd episode because of the goofy sounds, some ridiculos unnecessary short scenes and can't handle the awkwardness vibe between ML and FL. The directing is too bad unforfunetly, no matter how good our ML is. I'm putting this on hold as well.
So first off...ignoring the history/political side of it because I'm watching for the romance/drama mainly and our perfect boyfriend Jung Hae In ofcourse. I'm disappointed that Kim Ji Soo (FL) acting feels too forced, it makes me hard to believe her and I'm trying hard tbh. I hope Jung Hae In won't be afected because of this drama seeing all the comments around it, he is an amazing actor.
Now, I heard that Kim Ji Soo was indeed forced for this role, I can see that and don't get me wrong I don't know anything about her idol career but I had high hopes thinking if she was casted for a main role as her first role in such a big production along side big names she must have something really special besides singing I guess...but even the writing is off on some parts.
Anyway hope it gets better for the sake of Jung Hae In, I'll give it a chance and watch it, maybe the FL will be more comfortable acting, hearing that it's her first role, even tho they kinda pushed it making me feel as if this entire drama is meant to help/save/change her career or something. That line "Maybe you were meant for acting not singing." made me cringe honestly. It can't be only me feeling like this...right?
The best parts of the drama is our ML, OST and the lights/colors it's really pleasing to the eye I'll give that.
