ahaha thank you wew :) the accuracy of wetv is more than gag i think, im not sure for viki because it's not available in my country. and i don't want to be a narcissist but i did translate more directly than gag xD gag seems like they paraphrase each expression, and sometimes not writing what the characters actually says. which is not totally wrong, but they missed the poetic and deep parts in a way. yeah the different perspectives make sense i think o–o

i didnt sub 1-2 in the first place because i saw that on wetv it's available and it's not so so bad i guess haha. i started on ep 3 because the ones that were shared around were google translated more or less. i watched ep 4 with subs from gagaoolala, but it was still weird.. i hope viki one is better! wetv is not so bad either too

Yeah.. I get that, it’s not that bad- but it destroys character foundations sometimes. Let me take something I wrote on twitter an hour ago:

for example, i quote from gagaoolala: "koyama is the kind of person who will lend a helping hand when you need it".. but the original script translates to: " koyama is like,, someone who is as warm as hot cocoa here in the midst of this freezing cold winter" do you see this?! this is what i mean!! the character of "hira kazunari" lies within these words.. those words make us understand who he is now, how he's feeling in what he's going through..
There’s actually a lot more parts later one that gagaoolala messed up, but up until where I stopped subbing for today, this is a significant one.

i saw that the subs from gagaoolala are already up on the illegal streaming sites... but i see some faults in the sub that i would have done differently, so i guess ill start my version as well. may take a few days because i have a lot of stuff going on in the weekends haha

if i have the raw, id do it.. problem is- i tried torrent sites but when i get the video it buffers and it's not even smooth.. at this point i dont have smooth footage. so if we can find that- ill start subbing right away :)

i know the correct translations.. it's just a hustle to sub it though.. i wish i could just think and it just do the work for me haha-
