1. Yes, they changed the timeline of when she meets he suye. Even the IT summit is changed. In novel, yan heng comes to the summit and tries to get back with xifan after 3 yrs breakup.
2. Only yan heng is her ex. Others are just her close friends. Nothing will happen with others, no cofession etc.
Basically, novel has a slow burn romance. They(suye and xifan) take time to get together in novel.
there is no breakup in novel. They have exes. In novel, if i remember correctly, we only see FL's ex. They dont even show ML's ex. This novel is one of those feel good novels where everything is happy.
