You have an extremely narrow minded world view. I realize I don't know you and many people would say my statement…
You're investing a lot of emotion into my opinion, thank you. I'm always grateful when someone who could literally just go on about their day takes time and makes the effort to make useless comments of no substance and attempt to insult my opinions. You obviously didn't finish watching the show and didn't get the whole story, try getting all the info before forming an opinion otherwise you'll continue to portray yourself as someone incredibly ignorant and narrow minded. I really hope you have the mental capacity to understand what I'm saying but I'm concerned you don't so gonna block you and not risk losing brain cells trying to have a reasonable exchange of ideas with an idiot.
Amnesia... oh no... I hate that trope.. can you give me more details..?
It's been a year since I watched it so I don't remember the details only that I liked it and gave it an 8 which is pretty high for me I rarely give 9s or 10s.
Dropped at episode 4 and switched to the Japanese version, immediately realized how boring and lacking in personality the characters in this version are.
These types of dramas are only enjoyable if they have the right balance of good versus evil. You know it's going to be crazy and frustrating but there's just enough of the villains getting what they deserve that you get hooked, we all got hooked on this because at the beginning we briefly got to see Se Jin getting what she deserved but since them it's been win after win for the bad guys and very few feel good moments for the audience. At this point I am only watching this as background noise.
MDL ratings are fake, how else can you explain how there are no dramas with rating 5 or lower?
The majority of the time you can go to any other platform and look at a shows ratings and notice a significant difference between MDL and them, Trakt.tv, IMDB, Watchapedia etc. Either the MDL ratings are manipulated or the gross majority of MDL users over rate EVERYTHING. This show is rated 3.6 (out of 10) on IMDB and a 2.1 (out of 5) on Watchapedia, the rating here makes no sense and while everyone is entitled to their own opinion, trash is trash no matter how you slice it. Quality isn't subjective.
Spot on and all the people saying "what did you expect, it's a rom com" we expect at least an attempt to be original or execution so outstanding that we can overlook the lack there of.
Awesome drama, so cool to see characters with a wide range of personalities instead of the same old archetypes portrayed in every drama. I also loved how dialog about gender identity and sexuality was written in such a mindful and respectful way. I read some comments about ML being boring or showing lack of emotion but to me it was perfectly fitting that he wasn't expressive with his emotions because of his family dinamic and upbringing.
The first 10/11 episodes are fun and sweet, episode 12 to 16 are way too relatable and real that it ruins the vibe too much but overall it's well written, excellent cast and acting and it's definitely worth watching even with it's frustrating moments.
I really want to like this drama but I'm on episode 5 and it's so hard to watch him laughing and having fun with the original wife while he's married to someone else, I don't care if his wife is messing around with that young kid, he should still do better than her š so frustrating. Not to mention the how friendly she's being knowing he's married, why do you need to call him to the break room to give him hangover medicine? If you're just being nice to a coworker you should have no problem doing so in front of other coworkers.
The drama is about an evil producer who wrecks the life and marriage of a poor groom. The groom is humiliated,…
You have an extremely narrow minded world view. I realize I don't know you and many people would say my statement is rude and baseless, I'm going to go ahead and stand by it 100% none the less. Here's a few shocking facts that might help you understand why someone could enjoy this drama.
1. This is a work of fiction, the majority of people understand that and enjoy watching programs that showcase situations other than what they get to experience in their daily lives.
2. Let's pretend for a second it's a true story, it's actually possible to watch a show about people doing bad things and not feel empathy for them, after all crime documentaries and serial killer shows are extremely popular in some cultures.
3. Speaking of empathy, one of the things that every single human being has in common is that at some point they've made a mistake, some are just small mistakes, some are big, whatever! My point is that it's in our nature to make mistakes, regret them, and hope that others can empathize because they themselves have experienced something similar.
4. There's a ton of characters in this drama, if someone doesn't like the "evil producer" they could easily watch it to sympathize with the "poor groom" he ruined.
5. And last but not least, your predetermined view of the characters is completely inaccurate, the producer is not evil, and the groom is not some poor guy, the characters are complex and interesting, narrowing them into such roles is an insult to the writer.
Why even bother asking about this if you've already decided what the show is about?
