Seems like most people are confused about the last parts of the show? I think they explained it pretty well. Time traveler is related to the detective on her mothers side (seemed like the detective might be her mother or grandmother?). The killer is maybe a relative from her fathers side, but because it was fraternal DNA it is hard to say what kind of relation. That was explained in the show. And our main hunkadory, didn't we see him get saved by the other time traveler? Or am I delulu? Looked like he disappeared with them. I really liked the show, and how it was all weaved together. I'm truely hoping for a season 2.
