np, personally even if I prefer kdramas over cdramas, I still think China has some of the best coming of age dramas out there..

Yeah I loved Wan Peng in MGIAA but I loved her chemistry with the ML in WWWY even more

With You was super popular in China but didn't gained much recognition globally. It's literally the top youth cdrama out there. You can check this out if you wanna watch something heartwarming and nostalgic...

honestly, I can't rank them. All three are 10/10 for me <3

I can't believe it's already over ╥﹏╥. This drama was so so good. Li Xun and Xu Yun have my entire heart ♡. They've officially become my 3rd most fav cdrama pair. Now I don't think I will be able to watch any other drama anytime soon. 10/10 for this unforgettable masterpiece ~

tbh, I was never interested in this drama before, but will definitely give a try cause I really love LJG & SSK ~

the main leads chemistry is inSANE !!!

I really liked his character 'Yu SiFeng' from "Love and Redemption". Ended up becoming one of my most fav ML characters of all time. Because of him I tried to watch his recent drama (IS) but couldn't get into it after 2-3 attempts hence dropped it. But anyways looking forward to future projects ~

Seems like my downtime in dramaland. I keep finding horrible dramas. First "Sweet First Love" and now this one

Though I didn't like any of the 3 dramas
( Sound of Magic, Love in the moonlight, Itaewon Class ) but tuned in cause I loved the casts in their other projects and it turned out to be much more fun than I expected ~

What makes this cdrama different from other time travel dramas is how ML figures out everything real quick and needs no babysitting from the FL. Also I'm personally enjoying it more cause the FL is Shen Yue as her character is a basic one yet it depends upon the actor how it's portrayed ~

The thing that bothers me the most in cdramas is those irrelevant side characters who can't mind their own business and creepily stalk the leads all the time -

I wish the same too! They both had such an amazing chemistry and I really want to see them as Hua Biao and Yang Xi together again. I feel like the dramas I don't care about keep having multiple seasons but the ones I badly want another season for ( Vagabond, Moon lovers, With You and this one ) hardly get them ;/

I enjoyed the first few episodes but it became harder to watch later on. Apart from the FL no one had any character development whatsoever. ML's character was fine but I'm really sick of the abandoned-child arc. The FL's mother was super controlling and manipulative and showed no signs of growth till the last episode, same goes for the father as well who was practically his wife's shadow. He was like that till the end following his wife's lead and not stepping in when he should have. Both the grandfathers were pretty useless and the relationship between the policeman and the sick aunt felt like a complete joke. Also had to skip all of the cousin's scenes cause they were terrible.
The best parts were FL confessing to the ML and FL standing up for herself in Episode 3.

Recently I got into Japanese dramas, my first one was "Black Cinderella", it's cliche but I really enjoyed it, much more than the k & cdramas having similar plot. But then I had a hard time finding ones with english subs. Currently I'm watching this one called "Kahogo no Kahoko" and quite liking it too. What I've noticed is that they not as dramatic as k & c ones but still intriguing enough to keep me going throughout. I would love to try more genres in the future ~

totally 💯 as someone who hates watching cliche copy paste dramas & tsundere characters

I loved this drama from the beginning to the end. Especially Shin Dae Ryuk's arc. Also the last episode was really wholesome ~
