This might be an unpopular opinion but I feel like most of us prefer jun over thame because he’s just a better written character. Now I’m enjoying this but I feel like the two protagonists got no development going on. I’m loving their dynamic as a couple, them as singular characters though, they’re kind of bland we got something during the first episodes and then nothing. Like everyone else is much more interesting and well developed, sometimes Po looks like a recurring character rather than a protagonist
Now people are getting way too dramatic about this. This is not as bad as they make it out to be, now it is nowhere near the Jp version that’s true, but if you think you’ve never seen worst than this you’re lucky ‘cause there are definitely worse things out there.
The only problem, which I have seen no one comment about, is that they completely botched Ida/Kongthap characterization. I feel like they misunderstood ida’s naivety and overall confusion about relationships with dullness.
About the whole “they don’t look like boyfriend” thing it’s because they’re not supposed to. In the original manga Ida and Aoki get together before ida actually understand he has any feelings for aoki, therefore for the most part they just act and look like friends, so technically the show is adapting that part correctly. The problem here is that in the Thai version kongthap confesses too early so them acting like this looks weird, let alone the fact that this change completely ruins Ida/kongthap whole character progression. if they wanted to rush ida’s confession they should’ve changed other scenes too. I feel like they didn’t really know if they wanted a faithful adaptation or something different and since they didn’t fully commit to any of these choices the show looks off.
If you take this aside the show is a good, lighthearted series. And the acting is not bad at all in my opinion like bad acting is another thing and I’m not gonna name names
