So true! It also happened to me. I got blocked by someone that criticized me for criticizing 23.5 and then they proceeded to throw shady comments at me and my ratings for other dramas (especifically, BLs) when i could no longer see any comments from their account here. However, one of my friends came across those comments and showed me through her account. The worst part is that that person said they blocked me (and others that criticized the show) because it would be "good for both parties"...... while still talking crap about me on the comments when i couldn't even defend myself. Well, that is certainly good for them, i guess. I was kinda shocked but maybe that's what i get for sharing an opinion around here 😂

Yeah, it is kinda cringe and they did deserve better material, but the third episode is more toned down compared to the first two. I find that to be a good thing. Maybe it will improve with each episode...

Never said MSP is a masterpiece. I'm not a G4 stan. Don't know why you're assuming that just based on me praising a good show that was compared by multiple comments here to "23.5". I just mentioned MSP because i saw a lot of people do that to defend this GL (because of the tone, comedic vibe, etc), but the comparison doesn't make any sense and i brought my points and opinions on the matter. Besides, a lot a viewers are just watching this show because of the girls and the hype of a new GL from a well-known company that took too long to come out, so you could argue the praise is also "biased" by multiple factors. This biased/unbiased argument goes nowhere...

I mean, MSP was the last high school queer drama we got from GMMTV, so what exactly should i compare this GL to? I brought something from the same company to point out that it CAN be better than this.

I'm disappointed at this show and it pains me to say it, but it's already kinda bad. I wanted to support the girls and was excited for this release, but the way the story starts, the roll-out, the dialogue and the characters... Something feels off. Maybe the show needs better writing and directing, i don't know. The girls need better material next time, GMMTV!

Honestly, you can make a light-hearted show that's more comedic and not so serious, but at least make it GOOD. My School President (one of my favorite dramas and, in my opinion, still the best BL GMMTV put out since Bad Buddy and Not Me) is a great example of a show with these traits that is done right. Let's not accept mediocrity and just say it is a trait of a specific genre (i. e. bad acting, bad dialogue, one dimensional characters, etc, for comedies).

Usually i wait until the third episode to form an opinion and decide whether i should continue to watch or not, but unfortunately i couldn't make it past the 2nd episode on this one. It didn't grasp me like (as lots of people like to compare the two...) My School President did. Maybe their next work will be better...

Hope the sapphics love it tho, it's about time they put out a GL!

I love My School President, but downright disliked this show. The tone might be light and playful, but MSP handled it better. Probably a screenwriter and director thing. In MSP they set up the story/plot in a more riveting way from episode 1, the cast had great chemistry and played off each other really well; the protagonist didn't feel like a one dimensional cartoon character, the soundtrack and opening theme were better, even the editing and i could go on and on... The comparison to My School President doesn't make that much sense as the difference in quality (comparing these two eps to the first two eps of MSP) is kinda huge. But at least you're enjoying yourself and hopefully the next episodes will be better (i'm skeptical ngl lol)
