Honestly this show didn’t even come to my radar until I heard about “She and Her Perfect Husband” 180 years later I’m still waiting when it’ll air this year so I thought I’ll give another Xu Kai’s show a go. Never saw him in one before this.
I do like this show, but I will sadly put on hold…mainly because I’m loosing interest with the romantic development part I think and/or maybe because I’m used to the “male chases female first” genre.
I did enjoy the episodes I watched so far.

KGE character as smart independent woman was not consistent throughout the show..I get it we all have flaws…her character was just hard to explain….someone who acted like who had abandonment issue maybe?
ML character was something else but at-least we see this from the beginning.
But hey other than that I still enjoyed the show.

That reference of “tell me yada yada without blah blah blah” is from TikTok 🙄 But just chill, it ain’t that serious.
It’s ok for you to assumed when I started watching
kdramas, but get all hyped up when I assumed something about you. Don’t assumed about me if you don’t want it thrown back at you.

Agree! I started this series not knowing he was in it, and I was upset to see that he was a villain. I was wrong….he was phenomenal!

It’s been forever, but I remember when she would have an episode of her illness, hwi would put something in her mouth to bite on, so I believe she had epilepsy.

I hated how some dramas get so draggy. I would’ve been satisfied if this was 5 or 8 or even 10 episodes. Still, I enjoyed it sooooo much!

It’s a fluffy, filler (in between dramas)drama.
There’s a lot of filler to make this drama stretch to 16 episodes.
1. the dogs name related to FL….kinda caught on that from the beginning, I’m sure so many viewers did.
2. I follow how ML fell in love with FL. I don’t follow how she did though, it was very unconvincing.
3. The bad guys….maybe I’m wrong…it just felt like in the end the writers turned the story around about the bad guys.
4. The brother, the many times they showed how he was in the accident and died then the latter half they brought him back. It seems like…a twist they added last minute, a way to change the way the ML and FL meet again.
5. It’s one of those dramas I don’t understand the high rating.
6. I’d recommend because Seo In Geok’s acting, and if you’re looking for something to watch that’s lighthearted because you’ve watch too many thrillers, and heavy political dramas recently.

Cheesus I was bored with the first episode, I couldn’t continue. Song Kang was too gorgeous every time he smiled that I wanted to punch him in the face, because you can tell there’s a hidden agenda behind those smiles.

I was for sure this would be rated higher because of the ML actor. I’m glad that was not the case and it’s rated solely because…well…the writing.

I was just thinking the same…..how exactly and why is he a top Hallyu star when he’s really hasn’t done much. I’m sure he’s a great actor, but not a lot of great projects under his name.

It started strong…then it was odd but interesting…then the last few episodes was just idk…..retarded. Happy ending though.

As much as we miss you, take your time picking a new project. Good projects that’ll put your name back out there. Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Honestly never noticed until I saw this comment. Then I just replayed it in my head, interestingly enough I remember his voice in my head 😳.

It was interesting.

I’m on episode 10, and it took everything in me to get this far. The show is very redundant, and I was bored most of the times.
Also, the chemistry is there, but not a romantic chemistry. More like two bickering siblings.
I don’t think I’ll drop the show, I’m more than the halfway mark, and a new character (villain) came to light, which looks like it’s where the story will turn a little.
I’ll just take my time finishing it, because although something new has been added, I’m still kinda bored. Acting is great, characters are good, beautiful cinematography …it’s the writing….with the high budget (from the looks of it, IU’s constant outfit change for example)….I thought this had potential, but fell a bit flat in a lot of areas.

Wasn’t interested but found myself looking for something to watch for hours, so I gaved in.
SOOOOO GOOOODDD, then I found out there’s several more seasons supposedly in the works. I don’t watch kdrama for that, lol.
That’s why I don’t really watch American shows…for god sakes TWD has like 12 seasons (I watched every year for 8 seasons), grey’s anatomy who knows, I did binge watch GOT…I mean i was on medical leave for several months, I had TIME, and it got me hooked.
Watch this if you don’t mind having to wait 1 season after 1 season. It is that good, sadly I don’t have the patience.

I want my show to begin and have that happy ending in 16-20 epi. I can deal with the 30-40 epi with Chinese dramas.

First episode was unbearable to watch for me because of FL’s character/personality, but kept watching because of YWJ. I also wanted to see what’s the motive of her not having any boundaries, because it’s obvious she’s snooping not just because of the hit and run incident.
Boy am I glad her motives were shown at the end of 1st episode, because I couldn’t take her character anymore. Maybe it just didn’t suit her, maybe it’s her acting, or maybe she’s just one of those actress/actor that fell into my list of people I can’t stand (you know when you can’t stand a person, that even them breathing annoys the sheeeet out of you.) I have at least, 3-4 actress/actors on my list.
On hold for now, and put on my “end of the world watchlist, cuz there’s nothing else to watch” list. :P

If you won’t mind him not being the ML as the love interest, then watch it. He’s pretty bad ass, and funny with his gang.

You’ll feel single even if you have someone. You’ll look at your partner and ask yourself WTF man, why can’t you be WAN! Then think about all your past relationships. Honestly that’s what a lot of ML’s in kdramas does to you haha.

This drama wasn’t bad, I feel like the Cdrama My Fated Boy was a remake of this, MFB was amazing, it’s in my top 10.
