Why is it not believable that the fl and ml survived and have two kids? I'm assuming it was a happy ending for…
Just to play devil's advocate:
1. The kid with their names appears at the end together with characters we know are dead, so it makes the most sense to interpret him as also dead. 2. If the last scene is CY passing on to the afterlife, then it makes sense that the ML would be there, along with his dead kids (assuming RR was pregnant when she died) and his dead friends. 3. RR explicitly says that she's acting out of character AND she explicitly says why: b/c she can't live without NYZ. 4. Just because they don't show it doesn't mean it didn't happen. After all, YSS died in exactly the same way as RR (a bomb went off where he was standing & we never see his body), but everyone agrees that he's dead.
def lighter and princess but it's a bit darker than road home
Here are a bunch that you haven't mentioned, in alphabetical order: Exclusive Fairytale; Forever Love; Hi Venus; Hidden Love; Love Me, Love My Voice; Love O2O; Love Scenery; Meet Yourself; When I Fly Towards You; You Are My Glory; You Are My Hero
So who are Ning shishan and his sister’s parents please? Confused since they are dead and all..
The best explanation I've seen goes like this: RY was pregnant with twins - a boy and a girl - when she (and NYZ) died; the final scene is CY entering the afterlife; the boy - who is named after YSS - is meeting her to take her to join the whole gang.
Why does Jia Ling kill herself after only giving cryptic clues about the real mastermind's identity? That doesn't…
Yup. I see how, historically, this mindset might come out in general. But I still struggle to get myself in the headspace where it makes sense in this particular circumstance. It just seems to me like selling the emperor out to the world's greatest assassin is worse than mentioning his name (or even just his title) in connection with wrongdoing. So if you're willing to do the worse thing, why kill yourself to avoid doing the less bad thing?
Why does Jia Ling kill herself after only giving cryptic clues about the real mastermind's identity? That doesn't…
Again, I'm sure this is the right explanation. I just don't understand the psychology. From my (admittedly American) perspective, if you respect the guy that much, you don't even give a hint as to what he's done. And if you're giving a hint, then you've in fact given up on "respecting" him to the point of refusing to acknowledge that he can do wrong. This middle position of giving enough clues so that everyone knows who you're talking about but refusing to say his name just strikes me as silly. But again, that may just be because I'm coming at it from a very different cultural context
Why does Jia Ling kill herself after only giving cryptic clues about the real mastermind's identity? That doesn't…
You're probably right about that, but it just doesn't make sense to me. Maybe it's a cultural thing? I just don't get why avoiding the name while giving the person away would matter.
Why does Jia Ling kill herself after only giving cryptic clues about the real mastermind's identity? That doesn't make sense. If she's going to die AND she's going to reveal him, why not just say his name? Especially since Ruyi's promise to Jia Ling was contingent on Jia Ling actually telling her who did it, not just giving her a hint.
If I was Ruyi I'd just leave her corpse on the side of the river and be like "Well, I agreed, but she didn't hold up her end of the bargain."
guys I have one question.....Is this drama gives the vibes of hidden love ....I mean obviously the story is different…
Understanding that LMLMV isn't finished airing, yet, I'd say that so far the two shows are similar in the sense that, once the couples are together, both couples (1) communicate well, (2) look out for one another, (3) remain unswervingly devoted to one another, and (4) are heart-warmingly, grin-inducingly, diabetes-producingly sweet. But the two shows are very different in how they get to that shared point.
I just realized this is 33 eps I really hope they don’t kill my happy vibes
Maybe I'm reading that calendar wrong, but I think it has the episodes being released immediately under the day in December on which they'll be released (with an image expressing an important event in each episode immediately under the episodes). If that's right, then wherever there's a date in December that doesn't have episodes listed under it, those would be days when no episodes are released. I think that's why only dates with episodes under them have a white circle around them.

I hate unnecessary angst (though I love it when something angsty looms and the leads avoid/overcome it with clear communication and unwavering support). So after they got together pretty early and we've had a bunch of sweet episodes, I was worried the show would trade the sweetness for obviously avoidable misunderstandings and totally needless angst. But I'm actually pretty hopeful it won't. Take a look at the images associated with the episodes on the release calendar: https://kisskh.at/photos/Z81rdj_3. They all correspond with important things that happen in the episodes. And none of the images for episodes 15-23 look angsty. There's only one crying image - for episode 28 - and the images for episodes 29-33 all look happy.
I liked this drama a lot. No annoying 3rd parties. No needless melodrama. No stupid misunderstandings. Just a good, healthy relationship. Lu Chen was reserved, but never a cold jerk. Gui Xiao was upbeat and innocent, but never dumb or flighty.
There were just a few things that kept this from being a 10/10 for me: (1) I would have loved to see LC & GX's love for each other overflow more into their love for their daughter; (2) I would have loved a bit more closure with Qin Ming Yu and Duan Rou - I really liked both their individual characters and their romance, but I would have loved to see more of them together and as a family; (3) I would have loved a bit more closure with Qin Xiao Nan. Zhang En Shuo did a great job, and it would have been awesome to see a bit more of him growing into his place in *both* families
How is it?should i watch it.Its 40 episodes. And the male chases female tag scares me i dont want that.Is it really…
100%. As long as you don't need non-stop binge-inducing action, you need to watch this show. It's deep, charming, fun, wounding, and healing in equal parts. And the ML is definitely not overbearing.
Noooo, she actually dies 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Should I even i continue this…
You really should! I agree that she is absolutely amazing whenever she's on screen, but the rest of the drama really does her justice. It's a rare drama where she DOESN'T significantly elevate the level of the acting compared to the other actors, but this is one of them.
iQIYI is pitching it as a romance while MDL has it tagged as Action, Thriller, Mystery.
