1. It’s after she’s started college. FL takes care of ML, when something happens and he starts to realize his feelings for her and starts to gradually take action (episodes 15 & 16)
2. No breakup.
3. The only time jump is from the end of FL’s freshman year in college to the end of her senior year. This is in the last episode.
4. No breakup - so no need to get back together 😉
5. No 2nd FL/ML syndrome here!
6. No annoying exs.
7. It’s a very happy ending… I thing the timing of the show was pretty week paced from the first episode to the last. That’s my objective opinion though 😉

From your edit, that is exactly my concern with this show.. I don’t remember which episode but the FL had a conversation with her Auntie/his mother and there was a look on her face and I was internally screaming “NO!” Seriously the crazy mom in SITR ruined it for me.

When I read you comment about how it made you feel, and likening it to how you felt when watching “A Piece of Your Mind,” I started watching it straight away. I was already planning to watch this, but your comment made it happen that much faster, ha! I wholeheartedly agree! I feel like I flew through this series.
Another show with a similar feel to these two was “I’ll Come To You When the Weather is Fine.” I highly recommend it, if you didn’t see it already, as a thank you for your comment!

No, she’s a Jersey girl. Where Jessi grew up shaped a lot of her personality and style. I’m from Jersey, so I’m also not making a baseless statement. I see this “flavor” of woman all the time.
